IM A LONG TIME --CARD COLLECTOR AND IT JUST DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE TO LEAVE A CASE SO VALUBLE UNATTENDED. THIS TYPE OF NEGLIGENCE IS GOING TO HURT THE CARD INDUSTRY.
I think you are right on the lady walking and the guy that is standing in front of that row could also be in on it. I noticed as soon as she walked up that way he got on his phone and was looking that direction the entire time. I think 6 people were in on it.
So grading company is the official official now. Then they should do a tiny laser etch digits on the card when they grade them. Now no more regrading of the same card forever
I am absolutely shocked this doesn't happen every weekend. I have been going to shows for years and often shake my head to the lack of awareness. Perhaps because being in law enforcement for so many years, I have a different view on things. Dealers and promoters need to work together to provide a more secure and safer environment. We should all be concerned because some day someone could get hurt. I am not here to fault anyone and feel bad for the dealer. Hopefully, they catch these ding a lings and we all learn something from it.
Very suspicious to leave these cards unattended in one convenient case, not locked to anything, and to not recognize an obviously coordinated multi person distraction from guys in hats and glasses. Likely going to be an insurance fight as there was zero protection for $2M worth of cards. Maybe a lil gofundme action on top. If real, this should not surprise anyone. People pull the same distraction tactics at garage sales for relative peanuts, sometimes even using their children to steal. May be interesting to see how this shakes out.
Wow, that price keeps going up first it was a million dollars then two million now it's up to two point four million dollars. I smell insurance fraud.😂😂😂😂
This is nuts! My first thought was… why is there no one around the tables, this one or that one?! Is the owner one of the people in the video? I’m new to this investigation. I heard about it but just watched the video. Distracted dealers, is that code for ‘owners’ of these CRAZY awesome cards!?!?? I’m just not sure still of what/how this happened?!!?! My word though… the cards he showed🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯wow! What happens next?
This job was well planned out, probably followed this guy's table at different shows. Learned how he packed up and his tendencies. And they probably had a buyer in place as soon as they lifted the case They got their money and bolted. What happens to the cards is anyone's guess
All due respect if you don't expect something coordinated like this to go down eventually someone's gonna take your 7 figure stuff. Awfully curious though how someone without direct knowledge or relation to the owner would know to take that specific case but there could be a very reasonable explanation. It kind of ends up like stealing from the mob because it's now going to be very difficult to sell the stuff. Sad and unfortunate but completely expected. Can't trust anyone sadly
Who is the dealer that got their case stolen? That area looked empty. Did the two guys have all those tables? The tables where the case was taken looked empty.
You’re telling me that with all the cameras around the whole city, they can’t find out or find pictures of the people walking out of the building after stealing the cars and where they walk to and what car they got into
One thing ive learned it you don't know about that other stuff till after a case has been built and people caught. Im sure they have outside video of them.
These guys are thefts rings that know their sh&&. These guys are pro's and go around the country and do these kind of thefts. Some of these cards are heading out of the country now!
