I'm on a quest to find all the obscure games and unlikely champions of franchises that had no right to be as good as they were in a sea garbage games. Along the way we're taking a look at franchises that just can't seem to catch a break with their titles and anything else that looks cool. Nihilistic humor included at no extra charge.
36:00 I agree, The scariest thing is when your MIND fills in the blanks. thats how you tell good horror. They don't SHOW you the monster until they have to, at the absolute last moment. A great example of this is in Lord of the Rings, during the fight of the 2 towers. we see them try and PUNCH through the door, we see arms and the start of them building up the army but once the battle starts we don't see them ALL there until there is something to fear, we don't get a good idea about how MASSIVE they are until it's to late, it fills us with dread. And yes, I agree.. the Daycare against moon is done correctly. SUN builds up the fear of moon. we can barely see moon. Another factor is, they should have made these Robots unstoppable with one flaw, just like in the other games. Much like the games in Help wanted 2. We're set to do tasks with no understanding of what we are doing.. we should be left to figure it out.
Ah interceptor, a game with such amazing physics that you could blow yourself up if you were flying too fast when you fired a missle. Missles had a set speed they traveled, and if you were flying faster than that when you fired one, you would immediatly crash into it.
And then Chimera squad was awful, and since everyone left the company X-COM 3 is never coming out, and Phoenix point was not very good either. It's over.
Great for 2 to 4 years, pathetic for 5 to 7. Indie devs do more in less time. It was overall great. Except the Security-2 bot redesign, that is dogshit. Put the head gun back.
Was there any law that prevented him from looting a weapon from a dead enemy, selling it off to a legal vendor, waiting a few days and then rebuying the weapon after it's been "legalized" for redistribution?
FNAF is a amalgamation of a lot of the 80s/90s I.E. FEDDY Fazbear is a play on TEDDY RuxSpin. The Idea is pulled from an Arcade/Chuck e. Cheese Vibe. The Mini games are very Atari / Intellivision. A time period that many Gen Xers love. It's their Childhood/ teenage years. We all remember Genesis does what nintendont, Mortal Monday, How to do the Hadoken We all knew that one kid that would tkae the balls out of the skeetball and walk up to the holes and just shove them in for the tickets at birthday parties. This game makes me miss the world I grew up in. Before the internet.
23:57 We had our own local version too, called Scandia. it had go karts, an arcade, animatronic band, two minigolf courses... still open actually. loved that place as a kid.
so this is how I learned Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines TWO is in development, 5 years later, and the game is still not out! 2025 is quickly approaching tho
Always nice to see youtubers doing some cooking in their videos, always hope it at least gets people interested in trying out their own and learn a VERY valuable skill.
Telltale GoT is a disaster? It's one of the best TTs movies which has a lot more ASOIAF's spirit than GoT series The only disaster is it won't be finished ever
Is there any explanation whatsoever about how people of Rapture can survive under the ocean without oxygen, or is it just an aspect of the story that's taken for granted?
I savescum a lot. So far, Beep is the only character I let die. He passed away in a bed during a raid, in the chaos his companions didn't notice he hadn't been patched up and he slowly deteriorated into eternal slumber. As sad as it was, I gotta say the only reason I let such a tragedy go unreloaded is because poor beep had been the protagonist of too many stories already, and this time it was not to be
Yeah, thats Rise of the Dark Spark for you. I don't think anyone who has enjoyed the Cybertron games considers Dark Spark as a part of those games. There's nowhere it cleanly fits in the games' timeline, because Megatron has the new design, but Starscream is still a part of the Decepticons. Not to mention that there is no mention of any events in either games about the Dark Spark.
Thinking about the Kaon prison back then, the prologue to that level was actually kind of fucked up. Autobots were getting executed like it was Auschwitz and shit. Additionally I remember the game becoming a nest of cheaters in it's final days.
Wait.... So the person who is partially responsible for fnaf existence creation was Stephany? Sterling???? I knew about the review, I just never heard about who wrote it. That wasn't a crossover I was ready for.
Side note, a 40k and Transformers crossover does actually exist in a way. In Magic The Gathering you can in theory build a deck with 40k and TF cards in it! 😅
OK so handmade and pipe guns should be excluded as not made by licensed fire arms manufacturers. But the true take away if you want to live in California you should be a mele build lol
You know this game is on PC and technically abandonware right? Jury-rigging is fun and all but seven seas copy is practically legal for you since you bought it.
@@CharlatanWonder for real, the only reason for console wars was 12 year old who had to defend whatever their parents bought them because god forbid they didnt have the best "thing"
Funny because you actually can *NOT* play these games on xbox backwards compatibility plus the fan servers only work on ps3 and pc so that makes ps3 a little better if you want online
