Here is a link to the kit I bought: www.jpcycles.com/product/drag-specialties-caliper-rebuild-piston-and-seals-kit-for-harley-softail-dyna-2008-2017?sku_id=10230779
This might help those that can't seem to get the bleeding sequence to start. I don't know about other BMW models, but on my 2012 535xi, when you floor the gas pedal and THEN if you push harder you'll feel a switch being engaged. That's what I did to get mine to work. The pump is quiet and so it helps if you have someone outside under the hood listening for the pump when it comes on. Also, stay in thee car until the 10 minutes or so is up. It seemed in my case, when I opened the door to get out it MAY have canceled, but I don't know for sure.
Hi friend, thank you for the feedback. The N47 has a belt driven water pump, so this procedure will not work for your car. You can just follow normal process of filling up, turn heat full up, fan lowest speed, let run and top off as needed. Cheers
Hi Brother, I have noisy coolant ventilation when AC is on, As I read from internet, there are 2 reason, one of the reason is : coolant system that's filled with air pockets and hasn't been bled properly. Could you please help me how to bleed it?
@@SingleMaltMotors I have f10 528i gasoline engine 2012, first time in my driver career feel that when AC is on coolant vent starts to work, vent is working very noisy of course when AC is on,some guys told me maybe air pockets in the cooling system, other guys told me check refrigerant level maybe too high, my problem is coolant vent working very noisy, also some guys told it is normal in BMW F10🤷🏻♂️, but i dislike when car working noisy
@@alessandrodelpiero4395 Ok, thanks for the additional info. Let's see if we can resolve this issue. To confirm, the main symptom you want to resolve is that the AC is very noisy--is that correct? If so, can you post a short video of the AC vent noise to your channel so I can hear it?
@@SingleMaltMotors AC itself is not noisy, in this cars when AC is on, coolant ventilation starts at the same time and working very noisy. when AC is off, no noise.
I saw another video they used a computer to activate the throttle this way the throttle can be open while they do the test you didn’t do that but the test came out fine.
Your videos are really awesome and very good quality very nice I really enjoy watching your videos. But there is a little problem with your video, you should do SEO, if you do SEO, your video views and engagement will increase, likes, comments, and subscriptions will increase gradually. If you have less idea about this, you can tell me and I will help you.
Hello, I was analyzed your YT channel and I saw that in your channel have some problems, that's why your channel is not growing. Your videos is not reaching to targeted people, not getting engagement. Do you want to know these problems? If you can give me permission I can tell here, . Where Can I tell? here or email? I can tell anywhere if you would love to listen this. Would you love to listen? If yes, where you want to listen?
Hi friend, you will need to bleed the cooling system any time you have introduced air into the system. This procedure will work if you have an electric water pump. You should fill/refill the system, perform bleed procedure, then top up if needed. Thanks
I'm glad PA doesn't do their inspection stickers like this, or I would be screwed lol Thanks for the video. I wish I had watched this before I trashed my rotator, ha ha.
@@johnmansour7999 Mix of a few things. New belt, pulley, and tensioner. New alternator pulley. New HP and LP fuel pumps. Also new plugs and coils. Hope that helps.
Hi friend, thank you. Yes, a reasonable option is Foxwell NT301, which lets you read and erase codes, i.e., if you need to reset CEL. Here on Amazon for about $60: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UJV3E12/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Great video. My BMW 2014 f10 e55 cranks but doesn't start. Can this be the culprit?? Appreciate your response. Are the "exhaust and intake camshaft sensors" synonyms with the "Vanos" solenoids?? please excuse my ignorance.
Congrats, sounds like a nice car. Valve cover and oil filter housing leaks are common, but relatively easy fix. Make sure to knock out the latter as it can ruin the belt and main seal if left unattended.
@@akashicpurple3206 Depends on your budget and skill/comfort level. Belt and pulley are definitely DIY. Spark plugs a little harder due to access but DIY. Valve cover gasket and oil filter housing gasket harder but still DIY if you're intermediate or so.
I have a 2011 x3. I couldnt find anything that showed this setup til i found your video! A bit ridiculous that its placed facing the rear and you have to remove things to get at it but im going to give this a try and report back. When i tried this approach before i couldnt remove the piece of duct that contains the sensor. I hope that grommet is in the same place as your model.
Follow up: all went as planned. However the rough idle hasnt changed. The needle never moves - but youd almost think the rpm is 200 too low. It reads 600 as i believe it should. Slight pedal to raise to 700 and everything is smooth as butter. I cant understand why
Mine idles at 600rpm once the engine settles. What symptoms are you having? I chased a rough idle for several weeks. Ended up replacing pulleys and tensioner, also alternator pulley. Also did spark plugs and coils. Rough idle resolved.
I thought this video would help me because I was having a very similar problem. However, after ordering and replacing the drivers side door handle, I’m unfortunately still in the same situation; left without comfort access. The door handle replacement did nothing to help. Not sure why my comfort access is still not working even though it was when I first got the car.
Hi friend, sorry to hear about your troubles. I'll need more info to try and help. Which handle(s) were starting to fail? Are the other handles working? Which handle(s) did you replace? Let's try to resolve this
