I love the 2ds, even upgraded to an 2ds XL. Got my first black and red 2ds in 2015 and my first game was smash bros. It's my most played then I think I got a Pikachu 2ds XL in 2018, I modded it and it even became my most favorite. I enjoy the original 2ds cause how comfortable it was and with 2ds XL, its more convenient back then with its pricing if you ain't into 3d and they had the micro SD slot on the bottom.
Rest in peace to your grandmother. I associate BOTW with my grandmother's passing. Thanks for sharing. Great editing. I love my 2ds. Bought one for myself and my niece and my nephew. $80 with mk7 pre installed each. Best deal ever.
I love the 2ds so much. My family never had consoles, my dad set up an NES emulator with all his childhood games so I grew up playing totally anachronistic games, when some of my friends had 360s (but honestly I only knew kids my parents knew their parents and my parents were friends with folks who either were anti-screens or couldn't afford much screens, or both). We got a single 2ds, the old 2ds, for me and my brothers to share. They were young and distractable so I stole it. Went to see my abuela, there were long car rides and I played new super mario bros. 2 for hours and hours. We only ever had a few games, but I really enjoyed that thing. Time passed, I got a laptop, the family got a Wii U, we got a ton of old wii games from a friend, so I valued each game a little less, I learned to set up emulators on my own and source my own roms, eventually I didn't care much about nostalgic hardware, much less software. Then a few years ago, after 2020 I think, I set up the wii u to play breath of the wild, because I never beat it (all my friends owned it on the switch, we got a switch eventually, but never got botw for it, we already owned it on wii u). I stuck it in my room and played that game so hard. Its one of my favorite games of all time. That reminded me about the 2ds, and so I finally hacked my 2ds. I can now have any games I want on it, except minecraft or xenoblade, its too old. Usually getting access to more games, like getting the wii games or discovering piracy or having my own money to buy stuff makes me value them less, but I still play NSMB2 on the 2ds, and I played so much terreria when I first hacked it, It had recently fallen out with the game, it being the sort that consumes your life for a while, but on the 2ds it was just slower and smaller and I loved the outdated stuff. I might have cried when citra was dmcaed or whatever happened to it, the 3ds-wii u generation means a lot to me, and I love Cemu so much for having such useful varied options, Citra felt like it's opposed counterweight, orange and blue like in portal. I have the original hardware so I don't need it, but I still play most of my wii u games on cemu, the disks wont read anymore so stolen roms or old rips of the disks are all thats left. Blu-ray density disks don't stay alive for long. My 3ds is hacked though, and those cartridges won't frickin die. thanks for making this. Made me feel good about loving this stupid in between generation of consoles, with horrible smash games and lackluster sales. I often think about how all the good parts of the generation were ported to the switch, most of the good wii u games are on the switch now, and the 3ds was a test ground for a minimalist controller solution. Thet added in a second joystick, we first gen owners didnt get, because it was needed. I miss the experimental nonsense of shipping a non-replaceable single controller bigger than the rest, or requiring an external thingmabob to use amibo. Nintendo succeed too hard with the switch I think. It should have been weirder.
You should make a Kirby video after your gravity falls one :D I have no sort of bias towards Kirby, the name on my profile, “Kirbbbbbbbby” has absolutely nothing to do with the pink ball will red feet opening his wide mouth and empty stomach. He is hungry for content, we must feed him. The sheer brilliance of the Kirby games spark from the creativity, some games, like “Kirby: canvas curse” show great creativity with the ds. Having to use the stylus to guide Kirby through the wacky world, it also has a very creative style. Kirby is appealing for children like me and others, kirby games also show creativity with the mechanics. Like “Kirby: star Allies” which you can hold up on the stick for an Allie to give it a special ability, like the ice hockey ability, fire sword kirby, and many more. Did I forget to talk about kirby 64: the crystal shards? This is truly the most creative kirby game out there, being able to combine abilities to create funny and creepy, sometimes cool amalgamations of an ability. This proves that the kirby games show great creativity and ideas, Thank you for your time.
@@Kirbbbbbbbby you know what, you may have convinced me to do smt with kirby in the future, i plan to do a majoras mask video after the gravity falls one, but then maybe kirby :3
