The makeup look here is perfection (I've never seen someone emphasize their unibrow before!!). This blush placement is a win. I've come to realise as someone with a rounder face that blush below the eyes/ on the apples is what suits me best (alas, I'm a normie that wants makeup to look flattering on me 😆). I don't see any greyness issues with the concealer, although I'm only seeing an unfaithful recording of course. I see what you mean with the lines being more obvious between the blush and undereye area, but at the end it really is not an issue because either the blush fades a bit or completing the rest of the face takes care of that. Also, I am now the owner of a Flower Moon palette :D Although I have to say, I have the new version and I prefer the mattes in the old one you have. I sense that you may be a fair (cool?) olive and its part of what drew me to your channel because I feel like we have very similar preferences in colours. I got so burnt out on life and work that I've been living with my family on my savings for the past year and a half. So yeah 😅 Hope you've been well!
Also sorry to harp on but I relate to thinking things are frivolous and that there are certain other more 'valuable' things to direct my energy and resources to. But what I've learnt from hitting rock bottom is that I look back at things I used to do guiltily (like read a fiction book, paint or even game) and wish I had the energy or even desire to do so now as that would signify that I am a functioning human who can maybe then go on to live in whatever meaningful way you would see fit. Some things are about the process more than the outcome (which doesn't have to be meaningful in a capitalistic sense or even social standing sense). I believe in a spirit that needs nourishment. As for my complexion, I know that I'm a muted olive, but I confess that I often get confused if I'm warm, neutral, or cool 😅 I think mostly neutral. I understood you just fine even with my usually bad hearing/ comprehension, but the captions were well done! I know I wish for them sometimes with other videos I watch, so its very valuable and a thoughtful addition (but I know how long they can take and your audio is very good so I wouldn't worry about it for the future). The eyeshadow colour stories at the end were delightful 😍 (I do indeed have that iridescent palette lol)

This is making me think about my purchases this year. I made a goal to expand my makeup into blush, lipstick, highlighter, and lipgloss this year. A lot of the things I got were big wins. I also had a few flops. For example I hate one of the blushes I got because the shimmers are not finely milled enough. And I got a Milani lipstick that is just to creamy for my liking. This is making me think I should declutter them. Though I may try the lipstick as a blush, and see if I can salvage it that way.

It seems we've both found that, in trying to expand our collections, we come across products that just don't work for us. I was not crazy about makeup last year as I am now but I did consistently use this revlon cream shadow thing in chocolate as eyeshadow and contour of all things lol because most makeup tends to melt off of me but this stuff hangs on
🍉 Thank you! Yes, I live outside the US too and the palette definitely cost a lot to ship + was already quite expensive. Personally I had room for it in my budget and my collection at the time of release (spring/summer 2023), but I certainly wouldn't be able to afford another Ensley Reign purchase now 😅 I love that you're able to use your cream eyeshadow as contour too!
