The makeup look here is perfection (I've never seen someone emphasize their unibrow before!!). This blush placement is a win. I've come to realise as someone with a rounder face that blush below the eyes/ on the apples is what suits me best (alas, I'm a normie that wants makeup to look flattering on me 😆). I don't see any greyness issues with the concealer, although I'm only seeing an unfaithful recording of course. I see what you mean with the lines being more obvious between the blush and undereye area, but at the end it really is not an issue because either the blush fades a bit or completing the rest of the face takes care of that. Also, I am now the owner of a Flower Moon palette :D Although I have to say, I have the new version and I prefer the mattes in the old one you have. I sense that you may be a fair (cool?) olive and its part of what drew me to your channel because I feel like we have very similar preferences in colours. I got so burnt out on life and work that I've been living with my family on my savings for the past year and a half. So yeah 😅 Hope you've been well!

Also sorry to harp on but I relate to thinking things are frivolous and that there are certain other more 'valuable' things to direct my energy and resources to. But what I've learnt from hitting rock bottom is that I look back at things I used to do guiltily (like read a fiction book, paint or even game) and wish I had the energy or even desire to do so now as that would signify that I am a functioning human who can maybe then go on to live in whatever meaningful way you would see fit. Some things are about the process more than the outcome (which doesn't have to be meaningful in a capitalistic sense or even social standing sense). I believe in a spirit that needs nourishment. End soliloquy :D

@@TheCookieOverload thank you as always for your comments! I love reading all your thoughts 🥰 I think it's totally valid to prefer makeup that is flattering!! I hope you enjoy your new palette! The shimmers are so special, I've been having so much fun with them this summer. As for my complexion, I know that I'm a muted olive, but I confess that I often get confused if I'm warm, neutral, or cool 😅 I think mostly neutral. It's always helpful to get a second opinion on how your makeup looks, so thank you for the feedback :) I also got very burnt out from work this year and ended up living with family for a few months, so I'm right with you there. Your reflections in your second comment are very helpful and inspiring to me, thank you!
