I couldn’t get this to work. The terminal at Helios One wouldn’t give me anything. Waited several additional days for Rivas, still nothing. I picked up this quest for just walking around and ED-E just started talking to me, was not triggered by any person.

I’d talk to them before I got ED-E and came back to talk bet he’s not triggering it why

I have to say that i got a problem, the followers invitation is not popping for me and i dont nor want to go to the bos, i got vilified and the weapon upgrades Loaded my save to before killing a bunch of bos knights here and thought that my ed-e shoots blue energy balls and sometimes normal red lasers, ill just get the armor upgrade

So, what do you do if you had completed the dialogue with the followers doctor in helios, and the quest itself, without ede with you?

I killed Lady Gibson, so went to Helios One to talk to the NCR troopers and then to Jacobstown to talk to Dr. Henry and nothing happened.

It Is Actually Possible To Get Both The Armour And Weapon Upgrades to do this you need to speak to Lorenzo about upgrading ed e but do NOT let him upgrade ed e yet what you need to do now is go talk with april and listen to what she has to say but dont let her uprgrade him as well now you got to go back to lorenzo and NOW let him upgrade ed e and then wait three days and go back to primm to grab ed e and if you've done it correctly congratulations you now have both upgrades

I triggered this quest by talking to Michael Angelo somehow.

Gibson was already an ash pile for me. I got the Ed-e message outside the BoS bunker.

after i talk toil ignacio, ed-e doesn’t do the “download complete” thing

The one thing I will never get about this is since ed-e explodes at the end of Lonesome Road, if you recruit him afterwords, there’s no dialogue about it. I would’ve thought that the courier would at least be happy to see him considering some of the dialogue options at the end.

I turned old lady Gibson into a pile of ash. Having the marker for this quest tell me to go to a pile of ashes had me dying but sad I couldn't even start the quest. Shout-out to the comment section for showing me there are other doctors you can speak to, to continue the quest ❤

This is one of the first things I do in any Fallout playthrough is get Raul as soon as I can cause it's basicly having Danny Trejo as a companion but a ghoul lol.
