How to get Boone as companion
Craig Boone:
Boone is a sniper who is watching over the town Novac when its night, but his wife has suddenly gone missing, and hes pretty sure that she have been sold as a slave to the Legion. If you help him finding who's behind the selling of her, you will have the option to ask him to follow you as your companion.

NOTE: If you are wondering why i have so much ammo and stuff, its because i made this character to make tutorials, and then used
console commands to gain skill, level and gear.

I started playing this game a year ago when I got to novac I never knew I can get him as a companion also not knowing that I must look for evidence and making an investigation boone serves me well and will help me in my journey to new Vegas. -Lark Sambles PS: lark sambles is my name in fallout

Also I recommend having companions with normal wrapons like revolvers,pistols,shotguns,rifles I hate seeing the blast of plasma and energy weaponary

@thhath No, it wont affect anything. In fact it makes it easier, if you go into his room and open his terminal that will get you all the info you needed to pass that quest. You just wont get the come fly with me point RIGHT NOW meaning you can still finish that quest.

@Sandwitwicky Boone is a former NCR sniper, and he still haves some of his former beliefs from the NCR (for example he still wears his beret), so if you're hated with the NCR you're hated with him, as he says

@buhaybaboy for her safe in the lobby, you can also pickpocket her instead of cracking the safe open, it's just easier the other way around

You have to find the bill of sale note in her safe first. I apologize for being 10 years too late, but I had the same problem.

If your vilified with the ncr u can't get Boone he just says"if your an enemy of the ncr your an enemy of mine. Get out of my site"

@MachinimaAdvisor its because of the companions faction, in this case boone is with the NCR, but he hates the legion

@balisongmaster1 you choose the speak/talk option from the companion wheel, and then you should have the option to say something like "its time for us to part ways"

@FacePwnch he's at your suite if you send him to the lucky 38, but try waiting if hes not at novac, it can be because he has not yet returned, it takes some time.

They walk, but if you fast travel or something like that wheres mostly loading screen or something. and then they teleport!

its easy :) 1st wait till night,2nd talk to him and accept the quest,3rd put someone in the front of dinosaur,4th put the berret,get back and do speech challenge,there i got him as companion

@uberdemon29 Since you did make your comment 2 months ago this is probably useless to you now, but if you read the "Greeting people" article thing you get +10 in speech for a short amount of time, so use that just before you talk to him. Plus you can always go back to him after your speech has gone past 55

@300narutofan111 i don't really know what comment you're answering xD, but i can't remember talking about come fly with me, or saying the opposite of what you're telling, or how it makes anything easier, but you don't need to complete the quest, but you need to ask Manny (or anyone) about the other sniper and his wife

@EVILPENGUIN97 yea but dont worry hes not the only companion youll ever get, and i dont think hes the best, as he haves no speciel updates like some of the other companions as raul and arcade gannon (though gannon leaves you afterwards) i personally use Veronica with Arcade Gannons Remnants Power Armor and Paldin Toaster, wich makes her almost impossible to beat

@1baglieto ive used console commands in this video, and thats cheating so i cant recommend that, but you can get it mainly by scavenging, and sell ammo you don't use, for example if you use normal guns you can sell all your microfusion cells, and you get a lot of them, and with a lot of barter you'll almost get 1 cap each. Also pick up everything that doesn't weigh anything, like old money and such
