G'day, we're Beth & Paul from Australia and we love living in Queensland!
When Paul retired in 2020, we set out on a 6-month South East Asia adventure. This is when we began making little videos and posting them up to RU-vid. However, our timing wasn't great - with the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic less than a month into our travels.
When the pandemic eased, we moved from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, where we live a peaceful lifestyle surrounded by nature, grow many of our own fruits and vegetables, and enjoy free-range eggs from our chickens and honey from our bees!
Nowadays, we mainly travel around our region to show you the natural beauty of South East Queensland. Our aim is to make you feel like you're exploring these places with us 🤗

Hi Beth and Paul, my partner and I miss you guys! When we were living in Sydney especially during Covid and 2020 your videos took us away from the cold and hectic lifestyle for those minutes, and into a dreamland which we now call home! We can’t thankyou enough. Hope all is well and always looking forward to the next video ❤
We’re so happy to hear everything turned out well for you! The reason we kept doing videos was because of people like you who watched them during Covid ❤️ We are overseas at the moment but will post some new videos soon!

Hi Katrina 😊 On their website, they say they cater for vegetarian and gluten free diners. They mention that if you have any other dietary requirements, to advise them at the time of booking.
i have lived in coast over 50years shown many visitors the range seen many changes my son vised the candy shop loved from childhood will take home to townsville ore memories of the changes
As an Englishman from London now living in Queensland i can tell you what you see in this video is the real deal Queensland offers such a great lifestyle and is a very beautiful place.
I think I agree with you Beth about the air you breath in Tewantin. I think that among so many nice things the smell from the trees is what I liked the most. It smells like your spirit is being purified. :)
Hi Beth and Paul Hope you all are doing well. Thank you for the reply and really appreciate that you all did so I along with the rest of my family have visited Australia 30 times since 2000 and thought that we have seen most of Australia. You all have proven me wrong as we have not seen the hidden gems in smaller towns and communities. We hope to travel to Australia in November this year and would like it Very much if you can give us guidance and information on doing a 3 or 4 day road trip in the sunshine coast hinterland "the black wall" . Just love the little shops, Cafes and Hidden and peaceful places you all have covered that's exactly which is on my wish list to do so this time. Thanks again and keep those videos coming. We’re so happy to hear that you loved it! Pomona is also a favourite town of ours. We always pick up some delicious sausages that the butcher makes there 😊

It's funny aye! My family have been holidaying on bribie since the 50's so did my wife's family. Now my wife and I holiday there and now our son and daughter-inlaw holiday there with our beautiful grandchildren Ben and elsie. It's the beautiful laid back place it is
Wow, what a wonderful life time of memories you must have….it would have been a very different place in the 50’s! We love going to Bribie…..sometimes the simplest of places are often the best ❤️
Hey Beth n Paul every time we holiday their it just feels like home for us the island keeps calling us back we are going up there very shortly staying in bongaree for a holiday it will be our home one day. I hope you guys love the island as much as we do 😊

Thanks for watching our videos 🤗 There are areas in the hinterland (where we live) that are very quiet. However, the towns close to the coast are fairly busy nowadays. We’re looking forward to driving through the UK next month 😊
You didn’t mention where you got that sandwich, not Landsborough. Anyway thanks for showing off my little town. I live at Mount Mellum and love it there, but I have never gone into the museum. Will definitely go and visit now. That playground is a favourite for my grand children too, it’s fantastic. Isn’t Landsborough so nice and neat, that’s another aspect I love about it and we have everything we need here, including nice people. ❤
Hi guys, my husband @toobad88 Trevor was in touch 5 months ago and you kindly gave him a lovely hinterland itinerary to follow. We are now settling in to life on the sunshine coast and loving life here, just like you! We saw the pademelons at Mary Cairncross and a platypus in Obi Obi creek, all thanks to your suggestions. Great video , reminds me of a birthday lunch I had there a few years ago ,was a great experience then , you didn't mention the dragon lizards that would run under the table ? .
Hi Yvonne 🤗 yes, there were water dragons running around ….there were a couple of still ones in the video….but they’re not as noticeable when they stay still 😉
I walk past here every second weekend but have only walked out along there once. I guess you can become complacent about places you take for granted. Love seeing the area I've called home since 1988 through your vlog.
