Did you relocate any boost lines when putting the new one in that’s going to the gauge? My car has a boost gauge inside but I have two other vacuum lines and I can’t figure out where they go on the driver side. May just try and connect the two and see what happens
Hi Alex, ... Thanks so much for your video!!! I've a '93 300ZX that I've loved, for 20 years. I'm a 78 yo Engineer, raised on a farm ... so, we learned to fix our things. Now in 2021, a golf ball blew-in my passenger window. Got a used Window from EBay... $150 with shipping. (I had opened up the door on the driver side to replace the Bose amplifier ($400 est) with a $15 amplifier ... working fine, so I knew a bit about the door panel.) This door's first road-block was the getting those screws in the handle busted loose . Being very careful to "not ever let the screwdriver head slip", I started.... no go!!! Using a vice grip on the screw driver shaft, for added torque, I simply carved metal shavings from the shaft. Finally I put two vice grips on the shaft, and with a loud "crack" it came loose. Carefully rolling on, I got the the panel removed. That's when your VIDEO was a life saver. I have an official Nissan Shop Manual, but it's no help!!!! Your general approach, and then your comment about the "most difficult piece" (behind the upper seat belt loop) were ABSOLUTELY A GOD SEND ...or make that an "Alex Send", which were the bread crumbs I needed to finish the job. For me it was a 4 day, 24 hours total ...FUN..... and everything is fantastic again!!!!! THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR VIDEO Bob maryloubob@maryloubob.com
I'm doing the same job. I just wanted to see how it actually comes off. shame you didn't use a light when filming the hatch that's originally fitted to the zed. dark when you filming
If you hate even one thing about the Z then the car is not meant for you so pass it on to someone that cares about cars in general because your complaint is plane stupid. You get what you pay dumbass! Mine used to be in extremely bad shape compared to yours but I never complained and got it fixed.
Two words: PM (preventive maintenance) Most rubber or soft components are eventually going to dry out and fail. I hate t-tops on any car. I had a Z-32 with the solid roof. It was called the "slicktop " model. That's the best version of these cars to own, turbo or not.
Hey man, I just wanted to let you know that you might not want to use your torque wrench to loosen nuts and bolts it will mess with the calibration in the wrench and make it wrong in case you ever need to torque anything down.
you may know this, but my problem is that i replaced my top window roller and put the new on which is a pain.... but somehow yesterday the window popped out of track and the roller is missing now. causing the window when being rolled up at the last seconds the window bumps off a bit and hits the t top
do you know the model number for your hub? im looking all over the place but i cant find one from NRG that would work for me because my car is TT and has hicas, their z32 hubs all say they wont work with hicas. it looked like you had a TT so just wondering
Hello bro .. this of my gauge is always blue colour. When i power on , it always show blue and i like to replace with white colour as always .. may i know how to do ??? Plzzz
The 300zx tt was the slowest in a straight line compared to the Mistu 3000gt VR4, Toyota Supra TT and RX-7 TT; turn the boost up more and theyre beastly though. Like others have said, this is all regular maintenance shit. I had one, great cars, still beautiful today.
