Welcome to Coriander Quilts by Corey Yoder! On this channel I share all things Coriander Quilts. You'll find tutorials, sneak peeks, helpful information, and lots of fabric and quilt goodness. Thank you so much for following along! =)
Hi Corey... I just want you to know that your videos give me something fun to watch when I'm riding my stationary bike! (I hate to exercise... because it's so boring!!) But your videos are SO fun to watch that I actually rode an extra 5 min to finish watching this video! Love the pattern! It looks so hard but is actually so easy!!! Can't wait to try it!! Thank you for all the time you & Ryan put into making these! They are truly so fun! ❤❤
I've received nothing from Etsy, including your message. I was not only charged for a pattern but my account was charged twice. If this isn't solved today please cancel the order and remove both charges from my account! Thank you
I cancelled/refunded your order yesterday. If you aren't receiving any of the messages Etsy is sending to you in regard to your order that would mean that you either used an incorrect email or inadvertently used a different email than you intended to. I'm very limited in how I can offer customer service in the comments section of a video but you are always welcome to reach out to me via Etsy.
Thank you so much, Corey. I had a problem with Etsy about my account when I went to purchase your pattern. It took a few days and many emails to Etsy. As soon as they sorted it out, you didn't delay on sending me the pattern. Very grateful. Thank you. ❤
I still have not received my pattern. I received your response but was not able to contact you at your Etsy shop. I don't have an account and I was told I'd be emailed a link to get in without an account. I didn't receive that email information (tried 3 times).
Fantastic video as usual. I just ordered this pattern… it is going to make an awesome Christmas gift for my younger daughter. She lost her 17 year old kitty earlier this year, I know she we love this.
I just purchased the pattern. My plan is to make all my cats black using different Halloween fabrics except one cat which will be orange. Thanks for the tutorial Corey.
I was looking for an Irish chain baby quilt and saw this tutorial. Could I make this smaller? I am newish to quilting and not sure how to downsize this.
You could make less blocks to make a smaller quilt. But, I think there would be other patterns that would work better for a baby quilt. I would suggest looking for an Irish Chain quilt pattern that has smaller blocks (the one in this quilt are large).
You made me laugh out loud, talking about your quilting issues with that pillow!😅. I appreciate the scrappy quilt information too, but I have a similar question. I've been collecting small plaids and woven plaids for a little while. I would like to use them together in a quilt with houses, but I don't know how to use them. Can I sew them all together ( scrappy like but similar colors together) or do I need solid blenders to balance out the patterns in the fabrics?
Hi Corey I was wondering as Much as You love Ohio Stars. I was thinking if the block ( I haven't bought the pattern yet), if it fit 6", 9" or 12". We could put One of the MODA Blockheads Stars in the Belly of Mr. or Mrs. Purry. QUESTION: You mentioned that the white You used with the Starberry was a Coriander Seeds fabric. Could You Please put the SKU #'s for those. I'm waiting for Cali and Co., for my Purry Stars Quilt. Thanks Corey for everything. Give Tiggs a snuggle.
You absolutely could swap out the Ohio Star for another block. =) The Coriander Seeds fabric I used in this video is 29140 11 And I'll give Tiggs an extra little scratch. =)
This is a great tutorial! My snowball corners are always wonky. I was told once to barely sew a scant from the drawn line and then trim. I’m going to try your method next time. Your pressing looks so good without frayed seams.
If you find your top square is regularly too short (doesn't quite meet those outside edges) sewing slightly to the outside edge of the drawn line can eliminate that problem.
I recently bought this pattern! Along with wooly stars…just my favorites. My 20 yr old furbaby just crossed the rainbow bridge so I plan a memory purry stars pillow.
What a purrrfectly cute block!! (I’m sure you haven’t heard that one before!) 😂 Thank you for sharing your excitement! I will definitely be looking for this pattern to do in the future! 🧵
Absolutely adored this beautiful Plaid Sheep Quilt Shop. I still have my sheep pattern for your quilt design and would love to make it. I think it is because I’m stumped about what fabrics to choose.
Just wanted to thank you, your tutorials are wonderful with lots information, have you every thought about doing a pattern a month club, maybe with enough fabric to do one block. I would love to sign up for this club Going now to order this pattern ( my nickname is Kat, so it’s purrfect for me LOL)
No, I don't typically sell my fabrics. However, if you don't have a local quilt shop that carries them, they are available to purchase in online quilt shops. And, if you'd like your local shops to carry my fabrics, you can ask them if they might. Quilt shops are always happy to hear what their customers would be interested in purchasing.
