Yes to the Wonky log cabin scrappy block tutorial. The yellow polka dot fabric for the cornerstones on the Dresden plate blocks. White on White fabric sashing between the blocks is a great choice. Love your enthusiasm Corey. ❤

Good Morning all. 1. Yes to the Wonky LOG CABIN 2. Buttery yellow cornerstones, 2nd choice of black: depends on size 3 binding? Maybe the buttery yellow border around the quilt, then thin binding of all of the fabrics used. OR, piano key border of chosen or all fabrics used in the Dresden blades so binding then in the black w/white polka dots...so it looks like a picture frame. Umless you have black w/white polka-dot in a smaller dots fabric.

I will definitely need to share a wonky log cabin tutorial...they are really fun/simple blocks to make. I think a piano key border would be beautiful on this quilt! Unfortunately, I no longer have the prints I used for the blocks---I did a serious sewing room clean out and donated so many fabrics!...but you are right, that would have been a great choice.

LOL!...these videos always make me laugh a little bit...sometimes there is just not as much progress on these personal projects. =) The wovens are awesome!...I just purchased another bundle yesterday of the Arcade wovens to make another Calliope quilt with. Wovens make for such cozy quilts!

I love all the bold bright colors showing up today. I also appreciate your attitude towards giving yourself grace about unfinished quilts. It seems like you have had many other quilt related things going on in your life. I think many people don't realize how much other work pattern and fabric designers do in addition to having family and life outside the quilt room. Personally I did no quilting in February, none and I'm fine doing that. I was enjoying the quiet of winter, bird watching and plant starting and planning the garden. Also I have 3 household birthdays in February so I truly enjoy the month in Indiana just as it comes. I'm even late watching your video. 😂 Thank you as always for the video!

LOL...these WIP videos always tend to take a turn at some point in time. =) I hadn't thought about a dark background for Coriander Christmas...now I'll need to think about that! Maybe I can mock up a light background and a dark background...options are always good!

1.Yes to any tutorial from you. 2. The Dresden petals remind me of bathing huts or tiny slim houses. Red with white polka dots make it look like a predominantly red and white quilt. I love the white dot sashing choice, and the yellow cornerstones. Or maybe an aqua dot that matches those lovely blues in each block? I think whichever you choose, it’ll look great! Yes on the wonky log cabin. What about a green polka dot for the Dresden cornerstone. I love that huge scrappy squares with the black and white. I wish you would of showed the other block with the black and white with mostly white and then side by side to see what it would look like next to each other. Would love to see a wonky log cabin tutorial (although I'm sure I could work it out). I do like the white sashing with the mustard, or perhaps the small polka dot from the centre of the plates. I was thinking white sashing before you even said it. I thought the black at first but when I saw the yellow polka dot, that was it. The blocks remind me of the kind of flowers that fairies would dance around. So I think bright and happy is perfect. I'd like to make that quilt.

Please offer a wonky log cabin tutorial Corey. I love your quilt top, and I have so many large scraps that would lend themselves to a project like this. For the Dresdens, how cute! I suggest using a smallish gingham in an aqua or the golden yellow instead of the dot for the cornerstones. I think a difference in texture could work really well.

Oh my gosh, that quilting bee quilt is gorgeous! My first thought when seeing the polka dot dresden quilt was teal or aqua corner stones in something other than polka dots, or maybe a tone on tone polka dot if you really want polka dots. You make me giggle!

I would love to see a wonky log cabin tutorial. I thought that quilt bee idea sounded so fun, I may share that idea with my quilting guild. I would vote for the yellow polka dot fabric for cornerstones. Always love your videos! thanks!

Ooh! 😍 Yes, please, for a wonky log cabin tutorial!! Cornerstones: Yellow 💛 The red is too much, I think, and the black is too jarring a contrast. So enjoyed your video! Brought back memories of projects I did in the '90's in my local quilt guild. 😊

Yes to the Wonky Log Cabin. I live in South Africa (tropical climate) and make mostly small projects. Quilts are too hot for where I live. I love your fabrics. Take care.

I Love the polka dot dresden blocks! If there is a teal polka dot, that’s what I would choose for the cornerstones! I love all of your videos. Your fabrics are amazing.

Yes ! On the wonky log cabin tutorial… I love the buttery yellow corner stones . And I’m only about 1/2 way with the Irish Chain but have but loving the bonus blocks.
