As a proud Alum from 1960, a member of the 50th graduating class & given the privilege of writing/presenting our class farewell speech, I was 10 years ahead of the dedication of Founders hall. When I came back, from Oregon, to attend the centennial of our school (my 50th reunion ), in 2010, I was in awe of Founders hall & all of its beauty. During my time at MHS, living on a farm ( Bonniemead #50 ), being given the finest education, possible, I was probably one of a few, who realized what a gift I had been given. As I went forward with my life, having had the privilege of giving many speeches, for many reasons, I always started or interjected, how MHS gave me the tools to succeed. To this day, { I'll be 80 this coming Christmas day ) somehow, MHS comes into many conversations & how my school, put me on the right track, to experience life. Our class, 60', was the largest graduating class ( 104 ) up to that point & I still keep in touch with some fellow "homeboys", as we were called, back then, in the dark ages. Thank you for this film. My daughter played basketball at MHS. They weren't very good but they NEVER gave up and stayed determined every game. My daughter still has a great relationship with the old coach from MHS. Its family!!!!
Such a crazy and fun show! The large cast did a great job! The character development in several of the roles was phenomenal! Loved Norma’s dramatic portrayals of love and then death. The audience was very connected and engaged! Kudos to Dr. Duvall!
I am 55 years old and retired from a 25 year career as a sergeant in Corrections out of NJ. I took two freshman students in from Newark, NJ One got into MHS sophomore year and is now a Junior in college. The other is in the military. I loved going to MHS to visit. I still love the school. I love what it stands for and I wish I was married because I would love to do more to help kids and the school thrive. I firmly believe every kid can be saved if given proper guidance and structure. MHS is a magical place. I know a lot of the students don't realize while they are there just how much the school becomes a part of them. I would relocate from Tobyhanna, Pa to Hershey, Pa if there was a job there I could do to help the kids and school. MHS recruit me 🤔😁🙏👍. God Bless the house parents!!!!
Pete, I was deeply moved and impressed with the wonderful dedication service for Founders Hall. My memories are many when I reflect on the privilege of having the opportunity to work at the school and spend many hours in that building during lunch assemblies worship services theater and many other times. Please accept my congratulations on a fine dedication of a wonderful building. I have one commrnt: I wish I would have experienced hearing that the auditorium would have been named "THE JOHN O HERSHEY AUDITORIUM"
Did I miss something MHS had 4 an 1 and then got a flag in there favor which puts them on 1st and goal on the 1 yard line. A play was run, was denied which then should have been 2nd and goal. Instead, what happened is the ref gave turn over of down and gave the ball to HS..... did we miss something!?
In high school Defensive holding or pass interference is not an automatic first down unless you previously had 9 yards or less to go for a first down. Only a personal foul in high school is an automatic first down.

This is so Beautiful and Heartfelt! In a world where things are so uncertain MHS is almost like a Safe Haven for the children who are fortunate enough to attend the school.

My daughter is a student athlete at MHS. The coaches have been so supportive, and helped her hone her game. She will be college bound next year, thanks to MHS.
This is a wonderful transformation of space for the needs of self care. The hustle and bustle of life can become overwhelming and I applaud this space. Thank you
I am so glad to see this opportunity for self care at MHS. I can see this being a great place to go to De-stress before exams and tests and in times of personal struggle etc. it’s a little refuge from the world! I hope many take advantage of it. Great work! 😊
