Grew up in Kansas City and we had store bought mush loaves every week. Would fry in butter or bacon grease. Remember we all loved it. Never put syrup on it. Usually butter or gravy. We ate what mom dad or grandma put in front of us. Always loved mush.

I'm the 70s we as kids loved this! We didn't use the instant lemonade tho, we just used instant lemon iced tea mix. So refreshing on a hot summer day over ice but it'd also be great hot!
