Welp, MrMartley, I did have 10 chances to pull a 10. But only if you get the winning ball on the first draw do they give you the $10k. It was a dopey system that relied purely on luck and didn't really reward you for solving more words - which is why I'm a little sad that later on they came out with the $100k version, to where your ability to win was directly related to how well you solved words ;)
I had a miserable experience that was similar to this but on an Amtrak train. I was taking a train from Tampa, Florida to Raleigh, North Carolina and my train was on time when it went into Tampa. I got on my sleeper car and everything was going accordingly. Right until we stopped in Kissimmee, we had to stall. A train in front of us hit a car and the driver died. There was CSI cars everywhere, and this investigation took 7 FUCKING HOURS! The train finally moved at 1 AM and I had to sleep through absolutely NOTHING. The train didn’t move at all. I was so damn pissed my blood was vaporizing. We finally got to Orlando at 2 AM, and we had to stop for ANOTHER HOUR in DeLand, but I don’t know why we did so that time. At this point, my train trip was pretty much ruined. The train refueled in Jacksonville which took another 30 minutes. Mind you, our train was supposed to arrive in Raleigh at 8:30 AM. We arrived at 5:00 PM, but an extra 30 minutes due to getting our luggage and getting our rental car there. I also took Amtrak trains frequently because most of my experiences were nice. This trip alone killed all of my interest. Fuck Amtrak.
