Those are kinda hard to teach, for batton pass you have to use it and make it fail, so don't have any party member available and for substitute you have to make it fail by not having enough hp and using it, this will make it fail!
Sometimes people haven't completed the region that is needed to unlock them, for instance dream balls are purchased in Johto, not everyone will have access to that, even tho its true that the gtl is a bit more expensive, it gives the access to the items from any region.
If you enter phase 3 with any of your pokemon at under 75% hp he will always use grim harvest and cause issues, this is why on the second phase always keep an eye on the hp of your mons before entering phase 3
@@uchihamadarafromgaia I don't know where you are having the failure point but one common place to screw it up is when the water enemy stays alive and you get hit by a muddy water, you have to heal all 3 of your mons so that they are more than 75% so that the pumpkin doesn't see the KO with scythe attack
Hey you, harvest seems bugged without the forewarn sign. But I don’t own krookodile so I use zoroark with fake tears and works maybe not as well but works
The fight I just had included several mechanics that were not covered in this video. Like what happens when he does status on everyone in first phase? What happens when he makes my teammates start attacking each other in second phase? This guide does not address most of this stuff? What about in phase 3 when he uses grim harvest and one shot kills everything I have on the board?
That is why you always use safeguard with chandelure on the first turn of each phase, so you dodge all status effects ! , regarding the phase 3 grim, he will only use scythe attack if he sees the KO, so try to always be more than 50-75% hp so that he doesnt see it and always go for the devastating attack, hope this helps
