Around 1982 I was in the military and in a small town in South Africa. We could go to church on Sundays in the town and Sunday evening after the service my friend and I went to the one store with a Pacman 1 game and we started to play just after 8. We each put in what was like a quarter. It was our 20cents. At 9 pm the shop owner came to us to tell us to please finish as he needs to lock up the shop. We told him but we are still on our first coin. Everytime we walked into the shop the owner just looked at us like saying not you again because it would be the last games of the day for that machine. I found the patterns in a games book somewhere. Long before internet. It was fun and worth it. Another game I got good at also playing for a long time on one coin was Galaga. I also remember Space invader games in malls and even along pavements in Cape Town and some good players drew a crowd who watched and cheered.
does anyone know how to get the fire necklace to appear? one guide says "Pop 10 / 13 / 16 / 19 fire bubbles." but i have been playing for hours and can never get it to trigger

Also I remember watching Quiz Pro win on this Edit: I have had numerous ridiculous questions on JPM millionaire I remember the first time it happened it was for £8 I believe (250,000) it was about birth rate of a ridiculous number and it was one that I wasn't even able to find on Google after the stream
When I started this video I intended to cheat to win the jackpot twice. It really does start asking the most incredible questions when you really push it. When the machine makes it so hard to win anything, forcing a jackpot by cheating ramps up the difficulty as you see here. But if you continue and force a second jackpot the machine really goes ridiculous. However in this example it would have taken all day to get that second jackpot, just £1 took 26 questions. Also see how quickly the timer goes down near the end of this video. Even cheating I'm not sure there would be time to press the answers, never mind reading the question. If you have time, it's really interesting to push the machine to it's absolute limits and there's now a timer cheat in Mame as well.
Yes. Especially near the end of the video when I'm not pausing, the timer gets so quick I think it's impossible to read the question and all three answers then pick one.
Great video, never knew the any of these secrets, including how to make the umbrella appear. Well designed game if it took this long for people to uncover it.

Hi thanks for the video. I was going ok with settings and had set date and was setting time but I think I pressed something by accident now all it will do is record. Power on it start recording ; press any of the buttons it starts a new recording I cannot get back to operate the menu - not sure if you can help Trev

Thanks for this, its definitely the most concisely ive seen it explained. Im a pretty avid countdown player and regular apterous user (although by apterous standards far from one of the best players there) and i understand basic split multiplcation for example making 816 with only one of each 100 8 2, youd do 100+2, then multiply by 8. I get it, simple stuff. For some reason i just cannot get my head around the end of this video.. by him subtracting the 50 after multiplying by 75, it makes that 2 because 25x2=50? I feel like im being really dumb as in my head i see how thats the same as ive just written for 816, but it just doesnt quite click with me in the moment and i dont think id think to do it in the moment. Ill have to practice, thanks for the video
This is the absolute worse instruction I’ve ever seen the words he’s using don’t even match his actions. He said you can press picture to record then he doesn’t say which button he’s pushing to record. Did he push OK? Did he push mode then OK ? I hope to God he’s not a teacher of nothing🤨
