I had this issue also. New cam solenoids, the adaptors have special wire that does not allow oil to pas, just a precaution for the future. But unfortunatly i changed the engine wirin harness also and the O2 sensors. That oil will never drain all and because the O2 connectors are at the bottom you will constantly get mixture errors
Thank you! I did it with an XTOOL D8. The process was pretty similar with the scan tool you have. All the same tests you have on there are on mine and finally no ABS, TCL, or flashing brake light after 3 months. I’m now gonna return my D8 to Amazon lol because this was the only reason why I bought it
Great video man. I have a swift sport 1.6 zc31s and it shows 2 codes p0420 and p0171. I know my cat is bad as I hear a rattling noice at higher rpm, but I would like to know if there is anything else that could make system too lean error as I get bad fuel economy and very high oil consumption (the exhaust doesn't smoke, it just accumulate black tar after long driving). First O2 sensor is brand new, pcv valve is replaced, new piston rings and head gasket. Can I remove cat and fix p0171 code? I wish i have a skilled technician like you who can use a proper diagnosis tool to find out.
Lots of things can cause the p0171, fuel injectors, fuel pressure , internal vacuum leaks from brake boosters or manifold gaskets, exhaust leaks pre pre 02 sensor can cause false leans
My zf 6 in my xr8 was diagnosed as stuffed 2 n half years ago and still as long as i warm up car till themostat opens and at running temperature at which time i simply go through all auto gear selections then runs great till cold again however if i start cold and try to drive it slips only made that mistake twice and just got it running again want be a third as i dont have 4 g to replace or fix keep on kracking on .
I like it mate, learning more about it I have used a snap on for a long time, I think the snap on modis edge is more user friendly, but the autel is very functional
I’ve got the same codes but my brake indicator is flashing and my abs and tc indicators are solid. I cleaned off the terminals and reconnected them I have a millinium 90 pro I’ll need a different diagnostic computor to rest them though wouldn’t I
@@RealAutoSolutions P0101, sorry i put the wrong obd code, it p0506 not 5060 lol sorry but the p0506 code was idle control system rpm lower than expected but i fixed that by cleaning the throttle body, but the camshadt sensor code is P0101, i orderd a new cam shaft sensor going to replace it. but when i look up p0101 for my mazda it says MAF but the Oreilly scan says camshaft position sensor, do you know why?
Pretty much exactly the same issue and car, I had a failing battery (needed jump starting every other day) and the got the engine light issue, I've just cleared the codes and will hope they don't come back lol
My 2004 xtrail is having this problem, except not stalling just misfiring Ive had one diagnosis to replace all the injectors. I really need a second opinion as i dont trust the shonky mechanic who quoted. Is there a way to trouble shoot the problem in detail?
Hi mate wonderful video thank for your time 💪, Just wanna as u my 09 falcon green top I replaced all front rear brake pads after that I went to drive and after 5 minutes my ABS light come off and a orange triangle and screen top a tiny triangle with number 1 ? What happened, just let us know I never touch the ABS speed sensors at all ? Any ideas , ?? Many thanks Matt
Done this on a couple of FG Falcons. My question should be to Ford. Why do they put the exhaust oxygen sensor directly opposite the transmission fill plug? The oxygen sensor has to be removed first, to make enough room to get the tool on the fill plug: usually a 8mm Allen socket and breaker bar. Those fill plugs are tight, if they have not been removed before. And the oxygen sensor is usually difficult to remove, as well. Once those 2 items are loose, the rest is easy.
My 07 sti it’s got a Iag block and a lot of other aftermarket stuff but it’s getting a p0021 code it’s runs and drives fine idles fine everything seems to be working properly took the banjo bolts out no filters checks a AVCs solenoids hood checked timing myself and took it to a shop to have it all checked and they said everything was fine as well
