Mazda 3 Low Idle p0506 Idle Control System RPM Lower Than Expected

@@RealAutoSolutions A friend of mine is getting this error. I think they told him he needs a new PCM. I told him no, wait, try changing your air filter first. But yea thanks, if that doesn't work we'll try cleaning the throttle bottle.

What is the code description for the cam sensor code

@@RealAutoSolutions P0101, sorry i put the wrong obd code, it p0506 not 5060 lol sorry but the p0506 code was idle control system rpm lower than expected but i fixed that by cleaning the throttle body, but the camshadt sensor code is P0101, i orderd a new cam shaft sensor going to replace it. but when i look up p0101 for my mazda it says MAF but the Oreilly scan says camshaft position sensor, do you know why?

@@jasonkelly7573 a p0101 is a MAF code, I would be checking for air leaks

It shouldn't cause the p0171. The lean condition might be causing the p0506 though

@@RealAutoSolutions did this and it cleared both codes but today I got the p0171 again so I think I’ll just replace the sensor. Pretty good video
