Get a stock 883 with a screaming eagle top end kit it makes a monster out of the the sportster it will run circles around a stock 1200 sportster like big time take in mind you do I little grinding on the block it’s all in the 883 gearing it’s way better for the 1200 kit endless in possibilities with a 883 sportster I think every one should have one
Hey guys. What’s the minimum I need to put this cam in my 2017 M8 road glide? There’s other bolt in cams out there that advertise as being able to use stock springs stock push rods and stock lifters. What about yours
I just put the Zippers Red Shift 468 into my 2021 Fat Bob. Wow what a difference. Much thanks to Pete who set everything up and treated me like a king. His knowledge and understanding with the M8's couldn't be overstated. He talked me through everything and everything he said would happen, did ! No nonsense, no bull, just good advice and he was there for me from start to finish. Seriously good people !

Hi, I have a 2021 Harley Davidson Fat Bob 114 and after talking in length to Pete at Zippers Red Shift 468 Cams. I took his advice and I put the RS 468 Cam and the Thunder Max Tuner into my bike. I paired it with the SP Concepts 4.5 Big Bore exhaust and the K&N High Flow intake. Wow, what a difference ! I couldn't have imagined such a change. These Fat Bob's are already torquey but it totally changed this bike. It starts coming on at about 2500 RPM and gear after gear it pulls into the red line. Everything Pete told me about what to expect was right on what he said. His help was so good that I had many talks with him about what we were going to do before we did it and every time he was true to his word. I love this Fat Bob now and it will always have its place in my garage regardless of what other bikes are in there. This ones a keeper !
I’m impressed I believe them if you have the right combination those numbers can be real dnt know why people that probably dnt even have a bike have to be so negative great job zippers
Agreed RedShift 468 cam and Power Vision PV-3B tuner as my choice for my 21 Road King sounds great even through slightly opened up factory mufflers with welcome power. Thanks for sharing your experience.
I took my first road trip from Florida to the 120th Festival. I distinctly recall a video of the RTV mechanical arm and a claim that the beed from the mechine was a precise amount to prevent this problem. The more I learn, the more cynical I become about the Harley design philosophy of "Designed Obsolescence." I did a Woods 22XE S&S Camchest Stage 2 Plus on my 2020; in Boy, in re,trospect the oil pan shouldn’t been pulled to first remove sludge and sedimethereviousreviouse 2K miles it was broken in with, and secondly, to inspect for RTV! I performed a 3-holen on my Boy Fat boy and my Road Glide and missed an opportunity to check for RTV in the oil removed or at the filter which I promptly discarded without a second thought. Thank you kindly Sir, for your recommendations, you help us become better at servicing our bikes. I am currently consideringidering a Reaper 508 Fueling Race cam chest pared with an ,S&S 129 for my 2021 Road Glide, or the Zipper's 124 Muscle. Traveling Tall's videos on location at Zippers is the only reason for this consideration. Very Respectfully, ET1(SS/SW/MTS) US Navy, Ret.
hello I normally run a S&S 465 cam in a 114ci and it ran great, came on around 2200 and kept going to next shift. I up graded to a stage 4 117ci se heads 64 throttle body also it has an s&s super street 2 into one and tried to use my s&s 465 cam....it didn't perform. I then put in the se 515 cam that came with the kit, better but comes on way to high for me ,I like the power coming on early. what cam do u recommend. the bike is a 2022 fat boy upgraded to 117ci stage 4...please advice. ride ability is very important.
Harley Garbage. If you want quality and longevity buy a Honda Goldwing. I have 389,000 on my 98 Goldwing and it’s still going without any major issues just routine maintenance.
Installed this morning in my M8 107, Redshift 468, an instant gain from 86 HP 101 torque to 102 HP and 120 torque, and the sound... WOW, thank you zipper's performances for a fantastic product.
Nice work!! I'm new to the Harely Davidson platform, I have a 2009 Street Glide with a 96 twin. Would the 107 muscle kit work for me? It doesn't look like lifters are in the photo of the kit on your website. Am I just not seeing them or does it not come with them? Lastly, is that a ThunderMax tuner? Thank you.
Would a blocked piston jet passage give 10-15psi higher (@ opperation temp) readings on my manual pressure meter ? Got higher pressure readings , 60psi and more above 3k rpm , don't know where tot start
Is it recommended to replace the factory intake air cleaner on a 21 Heritage 114 when doing this cam? I keep getting told it already is a hi flow setup
I've seen this and couldn't understand how it would get past the filter being that the oil jets are fed out of the filter. The bypass valve!🤯who'd a thought?
I've just started watching some of these HD lower end/bearing/crank,/oil pump/cam plate/compensator/cam and primary chain tensioner/over-heating/oil in breather videos. It's disgusting. From a newcomer's perspective, it appeaars to me that if Harley Davidson also owned and operated a majority of the repair shops in North America, they would have 1. had to close their factory doors years ago from unsustainable warranty/repair costs or 2. would have corrected each and every known issue during the initial manufacturing process. Instead, they've created the necessity for an entirely separate industry of shops and technicians just to correct all the manufacturing/design problems from HD factories. If these third party participants can true a crankshaft and assure an acceptable operating run-out condition, then HD can certainly produce that as well. For some reason, the company does not have to achieve nor sustain those tolerances. Nor, aparently, design an oil pump that meets application requirements. HD customers accept the bullsh*t substandard offerings, year after year. HD has been the luckiest corporation in the history of the United States in that their customers are paying for all the necessary repairs/upgrades instead of filing lawsuits. Most of these issues mentioned in the first sentence would be acceptable and understandable to occurr in a 10 year old bike with high mileage, but these issues are common in latest generation products. Totally unacceptable. And I really hate saying this because HD makes the most beautiful motorcycles in existance, but the only way in hell I'd buy a new HD motorcycle would be with a 50K mile parts and labor and towing warranty.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Your short story on harley production and quality is true,,,,,,,sad,,,,,,,.............We have the best racers and gearheads that formed aftermarket companies , for good equipment...........
don't forget about the Thundermax ECM self-tuner...and the fact you really should replace most of the harley power train and drive train parts w/aftermarket fueling, s&s, zippers, man o war, etc. HD engine parts, including SE are JUNK
