My teacher said nurses who climb the ranks start off as CNAs and go up to LPN then RN make the best nurses. Do what works for you financially and education wise regarding school.
RN here, I applaud you for going this route. Having a steady income is what matters. Being a LPN is still a great career choice. Hopefully you can find an employer to fund your RN 😂
I'm trying to become an LPN as well speak , been registering for school. Doing my LPN first and then when I make enough money being an LPN I'll go into the RN. Gotta get out of physical labor my body can no longer tolerate the stresses.
AMEN 🙌🏻 Because MORE People Need To Hear This!! Also MORE RN’s Need To Hear This. It’s BEST To Work At Your Own Level. Couldn’t Have Said It Better Myself Girl! ❤
@@Babygirl_1997 i understand I have 4 kids and I’m taking part time to night class . I did that because my kids might get sick need a check up so I decided night was battle r
Hey, I am a canadian Citizen who have been working in clinical research in canada and completed masters but would like to do 12 month LPN/LVN program in usa- could you please suggest some community colleges where I can complete this course in 12 months at a low tuition fee? Thanks so much
I wish more pretty white and Latina girls ect where in nursing. They should be the ones having 5 extra kids most of them are way more pleasant to be around and not over barring or forceful or over friendly.
I really enjoyed this video girl. Exactly, people should stop 🛑 telling people, “why don’t you just go and do RN bra bra bra instead” why don’t you go do it? Some of them are not even in the healthcare industry. I am glad you chose the route that worked better for you coz that’s exactly what I am gonna do. Of course I appreciate other people advice, but they gotta let me do what I feel in my heart will work better for me! Period! Much love and all the Best in achieving your highest Goal in the journey!!! You go Nurse.
I love your mindset towards LPN like working at my hospital as CNA they Definitely have a line drawn with the RN’s and it’s like we can’t sit with them lol (jk 😂) I recently started LPN school and I have the same mindset about why I chose LPN over RN and I’m happy with my decision! I’ll definitely remember you when I begin my work as a LPN! 😊Imma be like mind the biznesssss that pays you😂 you inspired me sis 🎉
@@taniahaynes5011 congratulations on starting school, I’m proud of you & good luck 🫶🏾 & yes lol put ppl in their place because they stay in everyone business but their own 🤨😂
I regret going the LPN route. Where I live you only get paid in the nursing homes. Going back for my RN degree was the best thing I could’ve done. But, to each its own.
Congratulations 🎉 You made the right decision. You have to do what works for you and as you said, you will gain experience as well as making money before and when getting your RN. Congrats! 👏❤🙌👍🙏
Girl you mentioned about going back for the RN program as an LPN takes about a year, is that really true because according to the little research I’ve done it’s like there’s no shortcut to becoming an RN regardless if you’re an LPN or CNA. I’ll be waiting for your response please
Yes, it’s true. There are LPN-RN bridge programs. I’m currently in RN school. They give you credit for already being a nurse, that’s why it’s a shorter time frame to get your RN.
LPN school makes are in school so much better alone I’m the type of person who learns by hands on experience. I am a PCT in LPN program because I was a PCT it may LPN school a breeze. Just imagine how it was going to be as an LPN we experience in a RN program, so many people struggle because they have no experience, so definitely you made the right decision.
Yes ma’am! Everything you said was exactly how I felt when choosing LPN first. I just graduated on the 7th and now just waiting to take NCLEX-PN. I’ll be going back for transition to ADN next fall. I wouldn’t change my route for anything! It worked for ME. Now I can stack and gain experience for a few months until I go back to school 🥳
Thank you so so much for sharing this hun! I’ve been seriously contemplating whether to do LPN or RN route. So, after researching and talking with fellow girlfriends who have been through various nursing programs and in the medical field, I’ve decided that the LPN program would be a great first step for me. I plan to take the entrance exam sometime next year once examination resume in Jan 2024. And yes, it is your life and we know ourselves best! I’m definitely at a stage in life where I cannot mentally stay in something too long, so these steps would be beneficial to me AND I can focus on each task. I hope to eventually become a RN one day, but for now this is and will be my journey. I appreciate you sharing this! It was incredibly helpful and encouraging. Take care boo!! 🩵🩵🩵
You are so right, girl. I already have bachelors degree in business administration and wanna diverse into nursing, Initially, i was considering ABSN but was like hold on, I feel i need experience before i can step to that level since i dont have any healthcare background. Pepople bn like, why are you going way back? Its ok. I will go for that ABSN at the right time. congrats gu
