I have had my 2022 for a year. We notice that after a cold start, after shifting from reverse to drive and start driving, it’s a pretty noticeable jerk when shifting to what I assume is 2nd gear. After that it doesn’t do it while the driving. Anyone else experience this? Possible fix? Dealership reset the transmission and it stopped for a month or so now it’s doing it again.
I must be the only one who finds these vehicles noisy. Every bump or crack in the road translates to annoying sounds in the Pathfinder. I had high hopes for the Pathfinder having owned several Nissans in the past. Toyota 4Runner was way quieter as well as the Highlander Subaru Ascent and Honda pilot. I even took out a different one to see if maybe it was just an isolated incident, but nope. I am currently driving an eight year old ram that's way quieter.
test drove it today. the thing feels like it's flexing its muscles when it drives, real solid tank like feeling. absolutely gorgeous, third row was a little smaller than I expected but still decent enough. back seats don't fold down flat which kind of sucks, however the only negative things with this truck are not deal breakers. mirrors are very small for a truck this size, would be nice with larger ones. trunk space with third row up isn't the biggest, could probably squish your hockey bag in there . been going back and forth between Yukon or armada, I did not get the same luxury feeling in a Yukon when I sat in it, just my opinion... however like Castillo said in the video the letter "J" HUGE FACTOR, japanese over GM ... they just build things RIGHT, I own a GM and there are plenty of corners cut in the manufacturing of the vehicles, some seriously costly issues, some just down right tedious like rear head light connection failing etc
Just got mine a month ago. Never had an SUV, and I’m really happy with it so far. Smooth ride, elegant inside. Nice to hear your review after driving it for 7 months.
This was so helpful! I am looking at a 2023 now but to hear a review from someone who has had the 2022 model for a year is so much more valuable than a test drive review.
Just bought a 2023 Pathfinder Platinum this June 2/23, Canadian bought. Absolutely love the vehicle and the award-winning seats are second to none for comfort. Have the same chestnut interior. Absolutely gorgeous with the premium leather. My retirement bucket list has one less item now.

@@c.a.r.7393 thank you for a great review! Is it a doughnut mounted under the rear of the car? I’m assuming that’s where it is at as 3rd row is taking up the floor space in the interior.
@Maximum DIY Garage Yes, you are correct ! The spare is underneath the SUV where the 3rd row section is. When you lift the tailgate, the Pathfinder has the special space (trunk) compartment there where there's a panel where you remove and have your tools for the spare. There's also a spot where you wind the tire down. It looks like a drain plug for the cargo space, but it's the mechanism to lower the spare. BTW....the spare is pretty big itself. Wonder why you title this "2022 Nissan Pathfinder 7 month Review"? From the video it looks like you just did a review of the SUV. I didn't see anything about what features were useful or maybe what problems that might have occurred after 7 months. Nothing about how it drives after 7 months.👎
Thanks for your input. If you followed my channel, I covered this in my 1 year review of my SUV. This July, I'll do my 2 year review of it, which will cover the drive and handling in detail. My channel is just to entice the viewer to do their own research and test drive themselves the vehicles I review. I do not want to be like other channels where they give their subjective opinions. I just recently got a 2023 Nissan frontier Pro 4x that exact color and options except the one I got didn’t have the tow hitch , medical kit or the logo on the step plate and I got it From Kelly Nissan of Easton PA.
I'm torn between the Boulder Grey and Gun Metallic. I think the Boulder Grey is lighter in color which I prefer. It's time to trade in the 2010 Silver Frontier LE
Nice review! In 2021 I found my Pathfinder Platinum...2017 with about 25,000 miles with tow package!!! Woohoo 😁 An elderly couple bought new and took such good care of it. Nissan’s ain’t what they used to be I have a 22 pathfinder nice interior drinks gas transmission slow to react 2500 miles the heated driver’s seat stop working 10500 miles had to replace the battery when you put gas in the car you have to turn the nozzle upside down cause if you just put it in the regular way gas is gonna spit back and when the car gets up to 60 on the highway and you give it gas you get a funny smell like the cat is bad Nissan said it was cause the battery was bad it’s a lease so this will be my first and last Nissan nice looking truck though
Wow! Sorry to hear all that! I guess that lease was a bad one that came out of the assembly line. When I got mine, it was from the first batch in July of 2021. I really thought I was taking a big chance and having all types of issues. Thank goodness that I haven't had one problem with mine. I'll still keep crossing my fingers with mine! That’s a shame I’m taking a chance on my first Nissan on this new frontier. And glad I did best looking and loaded truck in this size on the market. Toyota can’t compete. Things go wrong but that’s what warranty is for. In your case sounds like a lemon. Once you notice something take to dealer and have it repaired never wait. Hopefully for this year 23 model year they got back into the groove and the kinks are worked out I’m sure they are. Nissan has some awesome quality.

If you have the Pathfinder, you have to make sure the Ac system is always on even if you turn it off. When you use the remote feature, then the ac will be on, and it will automatically adjust the temperature inside the vehicle. Hope this helps👍 Thanks for viewing and support 🙏
The one thing that bothers me is that you have to toggle into the eco driving mode every time you get in the car. I get switching it out of tow mode…. But why take it out of eco mode every time?
I agree. It's a pain. Most vehicles default to the standard mode all the time you turn it on. It's something you get used to after a while. I'm at a point now that I switch unknowingly...lol. Thanks for viewing and support 🙏
I got the same one. Only issue I have is that sometimes the entertainment screen gets blurry... it's happened twice and its annoying I am not sure how to fix it or reset... I tried it all. It just goes away eventually. If I didnt have a 20/20 vision I probably wouldnt notice.

I just bought a 2023 Frontier S model 4x4 king cab and this thing has more bells and whistles on it than anything I have ever owned. Great "POWER" as well. I love it
We have a white 4 WD SL with black interior. They had just one left at bargain price just slightly over $42K out the door. We needed an 8 passenger vehicle so the Platinum which runs around 50K was not a good option for us so we took it and are quite happy.
Well, I have the Pathfinder since July of '21, the ZF is still smooth and responsive! No issues yet. I love this SUV! Thanks for viewing and your support!
Honda had problems with their programming of the ZF transmission. They tried redoing the software but owners were still complaining about the herky jerky shifting. I haven’t heard of any problems with the Nissan programming and the ZF.

In mybprior videos, I cover that. This was just a 7 month review. But to answer those questions for you, everything is running superb! No issues yet. I guess I got a good one of the assembly line.. lol. I have over 14,000 miles onnit now and average around 23.5 in combined city/ highway. One of my other videos I cover my mileage on a road trip I did with the family. That mileage for this heavy SUV with 4 people and luggage was very impressive. Thanks for viewing and the support🙏
