Thank you Bernie! In this culture Im afraid that senior care is lacking. We still warehouse our parents and grandparents in Facilities run by poorly qualified and under paid people. I lived with my parents until they died. If I had not they would have lost their home and what little money they had to get basic help and care. I now having given up much of my earning potential face not knowing if I can afford to live. I highly doubt I will make it to 101 like my Father. It would only take an accident or illness to bring me to bankruptcy and a very uncomfortable life not one I would relish. Family care was the only way my parents had a good retirement. My Father died after an accident and time in a nursing home. First week sepsis, then a bladder infection from a place that is supposed to administer healthcare and he died.
