Welcome to QLab! I post science related videos that explore the world around us in interesting ways. I hope that you will be inspired to experiment and discover things about the world too. Just remember to always be curious but safe.
Soo..I read nematodes(fiery serpents) can fly using static electricity. Regarding the ancient practice of ear candling and nematode infected ears . They say there's no proven benefits of ear candling. Could this potentially be why ?
It definitely works, however I’m wondering if a bottle can be either negatively or positively charged depending how you charge it or what you use. Just wondering because I’m finding such differing science on this
I just feel like thiers a science were if we all passed away an were in like a sand field thierd be a way we can too become electronically charged an re brought to life crazy but I wanna believe that lol or traveling thru lightning don't know why or how but makes sense to me
Will adding a resistor restrict the current flow for longer duration of use... Because I'm not fully versed with electronics, but from my understanding restricting the voltage will increase the Amps(current), meaning we would have a usable battery that can be charged from atmospheric energy... That's pretty incredible because as another comment said... This is proof we have all the free energy we need
It’s the basic principle of a capacitor, and the energy is not quite free - your rubbing work is its cost. And it stores for very little time even in massive capacitors.
Is there any way to differentiate this from regular rust? While the acid is interacting with the iron, the water is also interacting with the iron to create common iron oxides, leaving you with a mix of rust and iron acetate? I ask because I'm interested in making batches of this for mordant and my thinking is that having loose rust will dilute its effectiveness.
Well, for the first time in the history of my youtube videos ever, I am responding, but! You are probably producing Iron hydroxides, or complexes. Getting blue compounds is perfectly fine. You just have to filter them and heat up. Then they will dehydrate and convert to iron oxide.
what happens if you get half a jar of iron powder, add water to the top of the iron to saturate it, pour off the excess water and evacuate all the air above the wet iron mixture then seal the jar? Does the bottle fill up with hydrogen or other gas?
