I post great videos of automobile builds, "How-to's", Car Show footage, ride-alongs and more! I primarily focus on Classic cars but have a passion for anything with wheels! Tinman 2 kustoms is my own business in which I specialize in metal fabrication and videography, but enjoy all things car related!
My favorite things to do are: producing videos of radical rides and spending long nights in the shop and on the beach with my cars ;) lol I always have lots of projects in the works; anything from 30's model A's to 60's pickups. Check out my vids, feel free to comment, thumbs up, subscribe or message me :)
I'll never understand the blower surge thing, when I raced top alcohol funnycar any competition that sounded like that needed to go back to tuning school......hell staging a car that did that would be a nightmare.
Thanks! I was, honestly, bummed.... they didn't find the sense of humor as acceptable as I would have thought they woud have, for a blue collar company like Miller. I planned to use this video as a supplement to an article I wrote them for the making metal series. But administration/management decided it wasn't politically correct enough.
@@TheCanadianBubba i thought so too. Tried to make it politically correct. I still don't see why they had a problem with it, but whatever. Easier for their marketing team to cancel everything than to appeal to the majority of their customers lol 🤣
I want to go lower and stiffer for safe cornering on-road, and lifted and softer with more travel for getting over mounds, banks, rocks, and ditches offroad. How do I do that? Cut off a few coils and mount the bags of top of the springs?
Just because they're rusty, doesn't really mean anything. Still have all the legal requirements on most of them. Plus requirements for old vehicles were different. If it didn't have the equipment from the factory, they can't make you add something that wasn't there in 1930 or whenever
Tin man. I know this video is 5years old but. What are your thoughts on Airmaxx bags and equipment for a first build?? Love the videos. And I love going back to the archives!
Hey, the airmaxxx stuff is decent for the money. If you're on a budget and it's all you can afford, there is nothing wrong with their stuff. It's just not as quality as the more expensive stuff. I run lots of airmaxxx stuff on budget builds
There are many great options for load support/towing. I would recommend you reach out to air lift. They are the company I use for load support bags on all of my trucks.
YOu might want to do videos without all that noisy music as people want to hear to talk and show the details of what you are doing. The music thing is has went out of style years ago and you have knowledge to share. Could you get into the detail about how the internal parts shift with the clutch pack from where you engage the outside shifter to show what is going on inside? That would be a great video...I promise you if you do your vids with pausing and all that music and instead just you talking you will get more followers. Cheers.
I disagree. Audience retention is almost doubled on videos with music versus without. The generation of folks under the age of 40 get bored without the stimulus of music in the background and changing it up. I have been running a successful channel for many years and music works. That's why almost all creators have music in the background or as effects.
@@Tinman2Kustoms when your learning you listen to the teacher not the music and if people like music blaring over what is being taught or explained ,then they are not there to learn they are just mindless idiots visiting your site. Audience retention smh lol
I wouldn't be surprised if their is. But it would be a rarity. You'd have to reach out to someone more knowledgeable about rear diff history to get that answered
@@Tinman2Kustoms Years ago I bought a 3.70 ring and pinion set from Performance Automotive Wholesale (PAW) for my 1973 Chevy. Took it to the dealer to have it installed. The installer told be that my car had a 12 bolt carrier with 10 bolt cover. I stopped the install and still have the set. That was decades ago. The car is long gone.
I’m particularly proud of this Pinstriper, he started with my ‘System’ available at Kafka Inc. Try it if you want to learn this fantastic artform from the guy that invented this style of hand painted pinstriping designs for money…
SIR, I NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE.... LIKE YESTERDAY! 1998 chevy s10 Airmaxxx complete 3/8" Manifold Bag Air Suspension with 480 compressor, AirSlamIt 2 link suspension and panhard bar install... Need help with bag mount location, pitch (is leaned up or back but drive line is perfectly straight-not good), ride height (if necessary) is it possible to get away with it without C-Notching the frame or is it a must do? (Have the 8pc C Notch kit from AirSlamIt) If i have to notch then on the driver side what do i do about the black box that my fuel line runs into and the actual lines as well? So many questions, no experience whatsoever & solo on the project with like 2 or 3 days left to get it done... Truck is on lift, leafsprings removed, front lower control arms hanging and coils removed, 2 link bar bolt mounted to the front of the bed (closest to the cab) and u-bolted in between the original rear shock's bottom bracket and axle... Makes my pitch as described (if vertical line was the axle and dashed line was the drive line it would look like this |------... now my axle is like | but imagine the ujoint on the pumpkin facing 45° upwards like facing my back window and the driveline is perfectly straight as it should be \------
