Welcome to the home of Them's Fightin' Games! I formerly did Let's Plays of various games, which can be found in my playlists, but lately I've been focusing on fighting game content and tournament play. Particularly for Guilty Gear. I'm a Chipp main and tournament player from the west coast and starting next year, I'll start appearing in major tournaments again, but for now, enjoy my online tourney footage, analysis, combos and casual matches. If you like what you see, and want to help me travel to tournaments to compete in majors, please feel free to visit my Patreon and pitch in there, or donate to me on Twitch. Links are included on this channel, and you have no idea how grateful I'd be. Either way, good luck and have fun!
Completed Let's Plays: Silent Hill Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back Super Mario Land Super Castlevania IV The Nightmare Before Christmas: The Pumpkin King Star Ocean Star Ocean The Second Story Star Ocean Till the End of Time
Truly majestic. I am of the less fun variety. I just equip a Blood infused Cleanrot Knight Rapier and Quickstep R1 spam them. Since they play like vaginas i shall do the same.
Honestly, this is probably the most impractical combo you can have as a Chipp player, and it's super character specific, so you're probably better off not trying to learn it.
Song: TR - Mega Mecha by GhostFinal, from the Anno: Mutationem Original Soundtrack. Build: Main hand Tooth Whip, offhand poison Banished Knight's Halberd with The Poison Flower Blooms Twice ash of war. RL 150 samurai, 60 vigor, 39 endurance, 14 strength, 80 dex. Talismans are Shard of Alexander, Kindred of Rot's Exultation, Bull-Goat Talisman and Erdtree's Favor+2.
This was just the first clip I could get. The headshot can allow you to throw more with R2 for a smaller shotgun damage. The startup on the skill's too long for it to combo into itself, but it can roll catch if you wait and react to it.
Since I recorded this the day the DLC dropped, I've been sitting on this edit for a while. Figured I'd just release it as is instead of turning it into a montage 'cuz I've got SO MUCH other stuff in the works. The DLC added a lot of interesting new weapons and ashes of war, and a lot of them have no business being used in PVP, but I do have a new favorite that made me switch to a dex build. Expect to see that one soon.
"alright. with you jackasses dead i can kill lavos. i just hope my little skirmish with you hasn't tired me in any way-" *cue lavos screams drowning out magus's own as he is devoured by lavos*
Stab in the dark + dodge nullified is my go-to for every fight unless I’m trying a new strategy. The lack of machine curse on all the pve fights makes critical mass crazy
There used to be a bunch of annotations in this video to explain things, but I'm happy to hear it was helpful enough to you even without those. RU-vid really shouldn't have gotten rid of them.
@@TFGRhinehart hell no. It's usually coop partners ambushing every single invaders in open spaces. No wonder regular players don't invade. They've been bullied out of it
Usually, I don't do that, but the last time I invaded this guy, it turned into a fight club. His gimmick, which I actually really loved, was to lie down and play dead beside another player's bloodstain. A little murder mystery roleplay. It was pretty fun.
I think i may've actually fought this dude myself before, he was not pleasant in-game nor in DM's… 😐 Regardless, thanks for giving spammers what they deserve, sucks losing to them but glad to see someone give an ass-beating where it's due 💪
Level 150 samurai, 60 vigor, 30 endurance, 33 faith, 60 arcane. Pretty low strength and dex, just enough to wield specific weapons. You can go for 28 faith if you just want Greyoll's Roar, but I went 33 for Blackflame's Protection. Lifesteal Fist deals crit damage, so it benefits from crit modifiers (hence my preference for claws), including the Dagger Talisman. Shard of Alexander also helps. It won't proc the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia or Millicent's Prosthesis, but you can still use those very effectively with the Raptor's Talons R2s. But I opted for the Bull Goat's Talisman and Erdtree's Favor+2 for the poise, extra health and stamina.
You can only put it on polearms. So just spears, halberds and reapers. Some weapons can true combo into R1 from the ash of war, though. Banished Knight's Halberd, probably Lucerne, (Grim) Scythe seems to sometimes. Scythes have an interesting true combo where after you land an R1, it puts the enemy's head right where you need it to headshot with a throwing dagger.
Nah not if you’re not over leveled because you’d need to time the dragon incantations perfectly not to get killed meanwhile you’re doing them and they don’t do THAT much damage even if you got a rlly good build
Generally, PVP builds have lower DPS than PVE builds on account of most tarnished having at most 2k HP. But you CAN keep these combos going pretty smoothly in PVE as there is some hyper armor on Dragon Slash. For PVE, I'd probably recommend a fast offhand weapon like a dagger, katana or thrusting sword. Ofc this works in PVP, too, for the same reason, but I found more success using offhand incantations there.
