Bummed I missed out. That looked like a lot of fun though. Especially the ability to have a fire. I love that man. Glad you dudes enjoyed and glad you got the chair worked out (future Matt talking to future HUCK)
Hi Jason, this was another excellent adventure. I expect to backpack the high Sierra this year as well. Do you have any tips for a catch and cook on the trail while maintaining Leave No Trace principles?
What a great looking location .. Beautiful scenery and a few willing fish ... Laid up , at least off trails ,waiting on knee surgery ... If I can't be there , next best thing is seeing someone else enjoy the game .. sounds like the Rainbow people found you , hope they got beamed back up quickly ... Stay Safe...
WTF is wrong with people. If you have to go in the woods and chant “I am worthy”, the woods ain’t gonna fixya! Sorry you had to deal with those knuckleheads. Hey, I’m all for people trying to figure things out for themselves, but don’t disrespect others and disrupt their solitude. Yikes!
Huck this is one of your best adventures yet. Beautiful country where you guys were camping. Looks like Paradise. I really enjoyed the fishing. Keep em coming. Thanks for sharing.
Man Little Lakes is easily one of my favorite destinations to hike/fish. So so many places to wander and explore, had an awesome trip last time I was up there
Nice, lots of fish :). Kind of sad when people decide to behave like they own the common shared public spaces, they are definitely not worthy of them :)
This was my favorite place to camp in scouts in the 90's. Those fire pits and grills were there back then. Also the pit toilets and plenty of water from the natural spring. Not sure why someone would camp right next to you, that's bizarre. Plenty of space and sites there, at least there used to be.
great video - liked and subscribed - you captured the essence of a backpack trip to that area - thanks! There are some cool caves to explore carefully in that area too, and a route with a class 2/3 pass that will lead to beautiful Ansel Lake from the main White Chief Bowl...
Love Little Lakes Valley, such an amazing stretch of Wilderness. Did you guys get a permit to camp there, and did you get a chance to fish any of the little streams that cone off the bigger stuff ?
Utah trip would be amazing! I want to get out there for some backpacking myself…. I missed my favorite trip because of a pinched nerve (Trans Catalina Trail) I was so bummed!
