My Dad used to take my brother and I up there in the 1960s when there were cabins

That's great. Seemed like a fun trip. The winds made it look chilly out there.

Great views despite the clouds. In fact, I love seeing the clouds down low. Looks like a marshmallow creme lake.

Looks like you could just bounce across on the clouds.

Looked like a good time in the wilderness. Kelly camp is so nice, huge and flat. I still need to make my way over through the Chapman Trail. Nice video, HUCK.

Nice trip both of you had, one of my favorite high country places in ANF. I’ve never seen that spring with water, mostly it’s buried in snow.

Breakfast Skillet and the Biscuits & Gravy from Mountain House are excellent. Make sure to bring tortillas for the Breakfast Skillet. I heard that the city of Cucamonga got it's name when it was just a stage stop. The manager of the stop had a hard time keeping a cook there working. So every time a stage rolled in, he would ask a question to the people riding the stage. The question was this. "Is there a cook among ya?".... Hence the name was born. Don't know for sure if it's true but it sounded good to me. City of Azusa got it's name because the claim was that you could find anything in their town from "A to Z in the USA. Azusa. True? Don't know for sure.

As much as I want to like NMM they just never seem to hydrate all the way. That was a beautiful camp spot, I notice you had a few neighbors.

Woke up to use the bathroom during the night, and someone was camped right next to the tree I used earlier!

Awesome one bud! Campsite looked great! Some stellar views at the top. Hopefully the coffee didn’t stain anything! How were the eggs?
@HuckOutdoors

All good. no stains! Eggs weren't bad, but they need a little something more. Maybe cheese and more bacon!
