Good points! Thanks for sharing your experience. I do believe that grace is felt in life during acts of purity and chastity, for sacrifice is the greatest act of love. There are many types of love and sexual pleasure for self seeking individuals is psychological in nature. It can turn into narcissistic traits if gratified without restraint. There are merits to celibacy and marrying the Church. However, I at the same time I agree with everything you said. It really depends on the person and motivation.
Hey Jeseppi, hope you're doing great. I loved hearing your thoughts sir! Very relatable. Although I am only 22, I went through very similar experience as yours. Since age of 13, I started to take the religion I inherited from my parents very seriously (on my own accord). Soon I became more religious or practicing than anyone else in my family and friends. And with that came suppressing my s3xuality at an early age. As a Sunni Muslim, I learned from clergy of my religion that a man should not even fully look/gaze at a woman except one time, and that any communication with unrelated females (women other than mother, sister, wife, daughter) should be done with minimum eye contact and looking at them should be avoided. So communicating with my female class fellows in school or having any female friends was totally out of the question. Including having any crushes, expressing my feelings to them or making them my girlfriend. I remember that I had female teachers from 7th grade, whose faces I cannot even recall. Simply because I would hardly look at them. And I suppressed my feelings towards this girl I had crush on. And, at that time I didn't even know how babies are made 😅😂 so the feelings towards that girl had nothing related to lust. Years went by and I realized how suppressing my s3xuality affected me. Unfortunately I can't go into details, but it is just not a good thing to do. Now that I'm a Monotheist who takes Quran as my source of guidance as well as Reason, intellect... after turning 18, I would say I started to live my feelings and stopped suppressing them. This was after leaving mainstream Sunni understanding of religion (which was extremely dogmatic) to becoming a Quran-only Monotheist & critical thinker. Suppressing s3xuality is against human nature and has extremely dire consequences. I cannot stress this enough. I felt your story really closely. I can only imagine how heartbroken you may had been because of this. But I disagree on one small thing. You said, these people don't know what it means to be intimate with another person.. maybe that is true for a lot of people but I refuse to believe that any sane, healthy human would exist who never had feelings of love and of attraction to s3xuality. Be it one's own, or others. So to me, all the people who suppress their desires are like a boiling pot which can blow up any moment. We have thousands of examples unfortunately of s3xual abuse from churches, monasteries, mosques, madrassahs, temples. Pastors, priests and imams all over the world, obviously not all.. but many.. commit such horrific acts towards their students (mostly teenagers or younger).... and the reason? There are a couple of them, but one of them is the one you highlighted today. No healthy individual can descend to such lengths of disgrace. This is why I am very anti-dogma now. And now I enjoy being friends with women, I enjoy s3xuality, even though I believe in staying chaste till marriage,... I think many people have exaggerated the cons of unguided s3xual experiences. Excess of anything is harmful. Anyways, this got too long as usual haha Happy to see you after long time. Take care & God bless
Dearest Tausif. So good to hear from you. It's been ages. Thank you so much for taking the time to express your ideas and feelings on this subject. Your words are an example of true sharing, and I am certain it will be a help and blessing to those who read it. ... The idea of "not having known intimacy" relates to those who have taken the vow of chastity who have never, and will never marry. It is true that although they have never had physical intimacy, they do long for it while living in the bondage of guilt and shame since they are taught never to even think on such things lest they become impure defiling themselves with sinful thoughts. [I did not intend to include those heterosexuals who are in a chaste mindset prior to marriage. But, considering the degree of inhibition, I can now understand now why women are treated as they are in highly dogmatized communities]. ... Let me say once again that your testimony will be liberating to many. "Natural" is not an evil thing but made by God to enjoy, nurture in, and sustain his Creation. I think this is the idea that caused you and I to research Oktar. I still am uncertain if he was guilty as stated on the grounds of many of the things you have mentioned. This puts human sexuality into a completely different mindset than I had ever though within the community he was attempting to liberate. You be blessed, and please feel free to share your thoughts whenever you feel so inspired. Mashallah!! ... Jeseppi
Interesante propósito que te has encomendado. Gracias...

Hello Leandro, Very touched and honored by your comment. I will be sure to visit your page more often to enjoy the inspiration of the Muses flowing through your wonderful music.
@@Jeseppi-Lyre Thanks for listening to my attempts at playing the lyre too. It's a beautiful instrument. I was very pleased to come across your channel as we still need more lyre music in this world. I gather from one of your pictures that you have a similar lyre to mine from Luthieros. Mine is called the Lyre of Hermes, which one is yours?
Hi, thanks for sharing... The lyre, I feel, is quite a personal instrument. I think it is a way of discovering oneself. I cannot say if there is a right or wrong way to play it. It is a way of exploring your world of feelings, moods, ideas and nuances. I made my lyre from materials I gathered. Although it is in the Hermes style it is quite a unique custom style as you may notice in the non symmetrical shape of the horns. The strings are three different size cat gut. I enjoy listening to your journey on the lyre because it communicates your passion for the instrument. ... Since you mentioned about nature, I did one with the sounds of sheep bleeting in the background. Let me know if this inspires you. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IjeAIJOlFvQ.html @@leandroscorieltauvorum
Yeah, really. If you really want to ... believe you can and enjoy the journey of progressing. It doesn't happen quickly but it happens, trust me. ... I went from being a frustrated painter to some success after studying David A. Leffel's, "Oil Painting Secrets from a Master: Prominent Artist Oil Painting Secrets from a Master". I was just about to give up. This book worked for me. You can get a used copy from eBay for under $10.
You can trust the sound is similar. And that goes for most lyres built after the ancient tradition. But, as far as the music melodies and notation, that is reserved for the scholars of ancient music. There are a few like Levy, for instance. My sense is that if the tuning is in the Dorian or Myxolidian there is a strong possibility that some melodies may emerge that might resemble. But we have no way of knowing for sure. @@fideIion
Thank you, Poetharpist. I made my lyre this Summer. Visit Luthieros. They are a progressive company in Greece that make them. They have some wonderful lyres priced reasonably to high end. Looks like their workmanship is quite good. They ship internationally for $125. ... Their RU-vid channel is called, SEIKILO. I'm sure you've seen it. Theo Koumartziz is one of their virtuosos who appears often in ensemble with others. I enjoy his work. ... Be well.
@@Jeseppi-Lyre thank you! I just asked because it seems you have a babitone one? I already have a lyre made in italy, by francesco landucci, you can see it on my channel, its pretty unique in that it has high strings, and the bass strings are thicker wich gives a bass sound like from a barbitone lyre... i like it ! But its still alot different than playing harp..it needs some time till im fully used to it😊 thank you! Did you builded it completly yourself? It sounds awesome! I already thought getting the barbitone from lutherios, but will see😊 happy weekend ! Thank you
Thank you, Poetharpist. I am happy you resonate so deeply with this song. In the words of Keith Jarrett, "I do believe in the Creator, and so in reality this is His album through me to you, with as little in between as possible on this media-conscious earth."
