You center the buttons? I just centre the 2 knobs, how do you centre the buttons? Man i couldn’t get my battery in, didn’t know the connections had to line up. That Allen key is 2mm? It looks 5 or 6.
A consumer drone that can be flown in the rain is something that there is a large demand for. It would need to be under $2,000 for the "bundle" and waypoint flight capability with the remote control also being waterproof.

hi, I have an SD4 that I have recently purchased, because the message "Compass error warning - calibrate the compass MODE switch" appears on the remote control every time, thanks
You should calibrate the compass on your SD4 almost every time you fly. Especially in new locations. If your getting a switch mode warning its probably because the 2 switch controls near the antennas on your remote are in the wrong position. Ensure they are on Gears up and GPS positions. lmk if this solves your issues thx - Sliggy

@@biagiopascarella9085 for better signal point the remote at the drone during flight and have the antennas folded 90-75°(perpendicular) from the remotes display.
@@sliggy6834 so the drone during the flight must be in Gear Up mode? I left it in Gear Down mode, that's why it gave me trouble. Thanks for the information you are helping me

4 m/s is = 9 mph and that thing is jumping all over the place when hovering. is it really that bad? you would think for a base price of ~$1000 USD, it would at least come with a controller. the fact that it doesnt, and its that wobbly and it has serious communication delay issues....is a big fat no for me. nice vid though. :)
mine works like a tank never have any problems with it....its even more stable when i updated it with the new image transmission firmware ,,,that separate the controllers frequency from the drone ...its more stable now with my new high gain 5G antennas ...be advise that Sd4 has one 5G TRANSCEIVER on controller and one 5g TRANSCIEIVER on the DRONE as well... so you must use a 5G PHONE as well ...to get the best highest solid signal that you can get.... and you will smile the whole season....MY ADVISE ...KNOW YOUR GEAR...
For safety I would create subfolders for each device and not put all devices new firmware in the same firmware folder , I do not know what would happen if you selected the drone firmware for the remote. The same for all versions - create version folders also that hold each devices firmware ' for that version'
I have seen quite a few posts that say after a firmware update people have started encountering problems and some had to send back to swellpro / supplier. Have you heard this ? what do you think , how critical is it to take the chance on updating?
I have to say that my old Evo1 from Autel has OA and it saved my rear two times in the past. Although as you mentioned it's not fool proff, but still a little insurance. If it saved your drone once. It is worth the feature. Thanks for this video. Some good points.

That's one cool drone. I can't get mine to take clear video. It all comes back looking like 240 p..... and it's supposed to be 720. Not even worth taking the footage to start with. lol.
Very cool drone, but too complicated for my simple brain. Mine is the exact same to fly as playing a video game. All manual, and no POV. I just got it for xmas and have only tried it three times. I'm waiting for a calm, sunny day...but we've only had one calm sunny morning. hahahaha !!
