I never thought of using facial tissue. I was using the foam wrapping plastic that would come with some of my orders. When the foam breaks down, I am left with small pices and a mess. The tissue appears to be less messy. Thank you for the idea.
Love your idea of covering the “plates” with plastic. I just got my betterpress yesterday, but haven’t used it yet for fear of not being able to clean it! Lol

Thanks for the video; your tips are really good. I’m hoping you can help me solve my issue with the letterpress system. I have an Empress machine that I love. I have just had surgery on my right shoulder and will have surgery on my left shoulder within the next six months. I bought the Empress because it became to painful to use a manual machine. I’ve watched videos of people using an Empress but I’m afraid to do the same thing. I’m scared silly about causing damage to my Empress. Do you have any thoughts or advice that might help?
Oh, I sure hope you heal quickly!!! I feel your pain! ♥️ I don’t own the Empress, unfortunately. However, I would recommend you call the manufacturer to ask those questions or, search on RU-vid to see if anyone else has had success using the BetterPress system in that machine. I sure hope this helps, and best quick healing wishes on your upcoming surgery!
Hmmmm, i would rather have an inky chase than ruin my designs with erroneous ink marks. Maybe a flatter liner would prevent that, but i am ok with cleaning my tools once in awhile.
Hi Kathya, I have been die cutting for many years and this is new to me!! Ingenious, I have tried to cut with just the tape, but after 2 passes, it is usually cut through as well. I will be trying this out tonight! Thank you for sharing, so glad you popped up on my recommended videos!!

I have been looking for a diy gilding wax and so happy I found yours. I have both on hand and going to try it. Another went thru so much trouble of melting bees wax adding other things like clear glue. This is just wanted I wanted thank you. I saw in the comments someone also used a cold wax medium. I ordered that as well to try. Thank you so much for an awesome video and keeping it short and to the point. ❤️
This is good info. I've had a die cut machine for about five years and haven't used it very much. I'm getting a mini machine and hopefully it won't be as daunting. You should look up "hyper-sensitive person," re not liking to touch certain things.
I've seen that electric wax melter, however I've read some reviews stating some of them don't heat to a proper temperature to melt the wax correctly... 🤷🏻♂️
FINALLY, a paper crafter suggesting Elmer's Glue All. I've been thinking that i needed to start my own channel just to bring attention to this glue. This stuff is GREAT and big tome economical. A whole gallon, when I bought mine, was $10. Unfortunately, I think it's near double now. It lasts forever. I don't get why this very common glue is so over looked!
