Hi, I found you through Amy's channel. Wow! I did not know we could use glycerine for embossing. That would be a great idea for stenciling instead of versamark. I loved the cards and your fresh ideas
Yes!!! You can use glycerine to refresh your Versamark embossing pads. That is the secret sauce! A small bottle of glycerin will last you a long time! If your Versamark pad is ‘dirty’ from ink, just gently wash it with dishwashing soap. Let it dry. When it’s clean and dry, just add glycerine to rehydrate. If it’s too ‘sticky,’ just add a few drops of distilled water. A spritz of alcohol will help prevent mold from growing. I hope this helps! ♥️

Really helpful video. Thank you. You might find it easier to fill the little bottle with anything goopy if you squeeze the bottle first so it kind of sucks the goop in. Hope this helps.

That’s essentially what ‘clear embossing ink’ is made of. You can dilute some glycerine with distilled water and you can ‘re-ink’ your ink pad. I hope this helps! 🙂
