You got off lucky i live in Slovenia and you would have your motorcycle impounded and then go to court and then your bike would get taken away from you forever
Moin, um deine Frage vielleicht zu beantworten, bin bis vor 2 Jahren selber noch ne smt gefahren. Das erste mal wo das Vorderrad hoch kam, war auf nem kurzen geraden stück Landstraße, wo ich mal bisschen am hahn gezogen hab. Hab das ganze erst bemerkt wo das vorderrad wieder aufgesetzt ist. Motor ist ideal für Landstraße. Sehr gutes Handling bezügliche, Bremse, Fahrwerk,Motor, Ergonomie. Sehr leicht sehr schnell zu fahren, da gute und einfache Kontrolle. Aber halt auch ein Mopped ohne Helferlein und leider auch recht wenig feedback vom Vorderrad, denke das ist aber bei allen hochbeinigen moppeds so. Hat mir in der Zeit wo sie lief sehr viel Spaß gemacht, hatte dann aber auch das ein oder andere Problem, ist halt kein japaner.
@@kueppi96 Danke für dein detailliertes Feedback! Das mit der Zuverlässigkeit hab ich auch die Tage recherchiert und bin dann bei einer GSF1250A gelandet.Probefahrt war super, hab dann gleich zugeschlagen 😀✌
@@mikichicago1200 bei meiner hat sich auch bei 40k km das steuergerät verabschiet und bei knapp 60k km der Motor. Danach bin ich eine cbr1000f sc24 gefahren. Von fahren was ganz anderes, hatte aber auch was. Wie ein Panzer mit 280kg trockengewicht
Hello Friend! Congratulations on the video and sorry if I ask for opinions after all this time! I try! What memories do you have of this bike? I would like to buy one because I like the idea of having a comfortable motard. The engine is very reliable (yamaha) and the chassis is neat.
I had the Strada 660 and it was amazing. I only sold it as I was changing jobs and needed a bike to survive on the motorway every day. It did everything else perfectly. Best real world bike I had.
Salut, je possède un msx j aimerai faire un peu de piste avec je vis tout près de spa ,quel son les chose à faire sur sa moto hors moteur, pour la m'être sur le circuit .
Ich fahre auch seit ein Paar Jahren SMT und bin super zufrieden. fahre ca 7-10k KM pro Jahr und bis auf die Servicekosten und den Reifenverschleiß ist alles top!

The Duke is much, much easier to drive. Lighter offcourse and incredibly neutral in the corners. For me this means it's more enjoyable to drive in the twisty's. It does have a bit of a loss in character in comparison to the 990. The acceleration of the Duke is more lineair in a way which makes it less exciting than the 990. In the end the 790 Duke can't beat the 'do it all' practicality of the 990 SMT but for when you are only riding on B roads and twisty's I would take the 790 everytime.
pikexking thanks for the feedback! I suppose a proper exhaust system should bring alive some of that character on the duke! I’ve been wanting an SMT for a long time now, and kind of didnt pay attention to the 790 duke because it has a smaller engine and seems a little less serious of a bike, but looking at reviews now, people seem to find it an amazing bike. Especially all the modern electronics appeal to me, whereas the smt only comes with optional ABS. Just for pure daily fun, would you take the 790 Duke over the SMT? Lastly, how does acceleration compare to the smt? I know this is much more lineair but can you feel the extra 10bhp that the smt has? Greetings from Amsterdam!
@@TheKniperlight Ik denk niet dat een uitlaat systeem echt wat aan het karakter gaat veranderen. Het zit hem echt in het blok. Voor daily fun zeker de 790. Meer gooi en smijt. Ik merk die 10pk verschil niet echt. Denk ik. De 790 is makkelijker om heel hard mee te rijden. Stuurt zo goed en icm. de QS heb je aandacht over om beter op de weg te letten. Gaat gewoon zo makkelijk. De 990 geeft wel iets meer sensatie omdat het allemaal wat meer trilt, op een andere manier door de toeren vliegt(Hij heeft een soort van powerband lijkt het), je zelf moet koppelen en meer nadenken over wat je aan het doen bent. En de 990 klinkt echt veel beter. Ik rij met akra slip on en DB killers. Gewoon beide proefrijden is de enige oplossing ;)

@@pikexking is die 790 technisch een beetje betrouwbaar? Nou ben ik een simpele honda rijder maar laatste tijd kijk ik wel vaak naar ktm’s😏 alleen heb ik geen zin om hem om de 6 maanden service te geven.
