I've heard some offer a safety net. Basically monthly pay until you sell your house. Once you sell a house and make money off that you'll never make monthly pay again. If you go a month and don't sell a house you won't get monthly pay
The part where she said stick with them until they are convinced to make a move is absolutely correct 💯 I know a guy that I've known for over five years now and he had this 1 plot of land he hadn't been able to get a buyer on for almost 10 years now and just last month, we sold it to a female pharmacist and she paid in full and I got my commission 🎉 It may be long but someday, You'll make a sale or commission 🎉
Just started in real estate 2 weeks ago. My main goal is to find that first client and this is some of the best advice I’ve gotten after talking with numerous amounts of different brokers and agents… I will definitely use this advice for my open house this weekend! 💯
I just passed my exams a few days ago. I'm currently meeting with brokerages to find out where I want to work. One of them mentioned targeting my sphere of influence with their ads. I feel like most of these brokerages want me to tap into my SOI, and I feel like it's slightly violating their privacy, and I haven't connected with these people since I moved out of state. Am I expected to utilize my SOI at all of these brokerages because it feels like that's the case? Is this the norm?
You have to remember that as an agent, you are independent and have the right to choose how to approach your business strategy! In my opinion, social media is a great and non invasive way to announce to your sphere you’re in business
After learning where you graduated, no wonder why you are successful. I hope you will become multi millionaire soon and I feel like you will be the sought after real estate agent. I am glad I came across with your channel. Go Bruins!
I retired from the military and have an engineering background, but I have decided to change a career field from engineering into real estate industries due to being an engineer is no longer suitable for me. The good thing about being retired in the military is that I have a fall back financially (retirement income) just incase real estate will be difficult due to lack of experience and knowledge--I can be risky or work slowly up.
The industry needs a flat rate fee or a cap. Otherwise, perhaps the rise of the real estate attorney is best for the seller and buyer. I have bought and sold over 8 properties in my lifetime and the fees are excessive. I always found the property on my own or sold the property within one week of listing and with multiple offers. The properties sold themselves and had nothing to do with a real estate agents bringing in tons of clients. The fact is there are more buyers then sellers in CA, especially in hot areas. If anything, new services need to pop up to connect buyers and sellers and offer open and transparent contracts that a buyer can review and\or take to a real estate attorney. High time that the fleecing of the seller and buyer stops.
Hi Chloe, I'm finishing up my pre-licensing education in Colorado. Would you say there is any value to putting off making branding decisions until I find an employing broker? On the one hand, most of my branding is not going to change once I begin to practice real estate (because it will be unique to who I am). But I wonder if I get this idea to be e.g. "the farm guy" but then I find out from my employing broker that there is no business as "the farm guy", perhaps these ideas I had were unrealistic. Or how would you find that balance between niching down based on what you are interested in and actually taking the market into consideration?
Being a real estate agent is not tailored for all or everybody’s job would be in real estate and earning millions of bucks! Been there, done that not for me. Good luck to all aspiring to become one, there are fees and realtor dues that you need to pay monthly, quarterly and yearly before you even earn your first check!
I could watch her videos all day 💐 Great info thank you ! I currently have my own marketing business mainly dealing with dental offices … I ve done well and now have plenty of spare time and have been looking to becoming a realtor but still have my marketing business to help pay my bills while I am learning to become a successful realtor.
I recently inherited a really nice property from my late grandpa. I've been considering ways to generate some extra income from it to support my family, especially with the economy being so tough right now. A friend suggested I look into the Airbnb business instead of selling the property. I don't know where to start and can't afford to make any mistakes.
