This is the most lame official announcement ever. If Canon is not going to provide any concrete specs, then we don't want to know anything about this camera. We've been hearing about it for years now, we don't need any more fluffy cloud rumours. Give us the real thing.
FANTASTIC video, just one MINOR disagreement: I don't know if things have changed, but if an assistant texts me rather than calling, I'm going to hire them over someone who calls. My time is valuable & they allowed me to respond on my own time by texting (just like email)... I think you may be stuck in your generation. And I'm not a spring chicken, I'm 47 I actually prefer texts over email a lot of the time. It's simpler & faster. It saves time... After a text I'd setup a time to call PS People not saying "bye" in movies/TV is a pet peeve 😆 Loved your story about your friend who hangs up
I can't see the image when I look into the camera. I just bought this. What do I need to press in order to see the image? I have removed the lens cover.
Jean is a true gem. I had the honor of attending a summit with her and she was just so open and eager to teach and for us to learn. She really puts passion and thought into her photography and it shows.
Great content Jean. Thanks for walking us through your planning and how you prep for a shoot. I also appreciated you sharing what cameras you use and the lenses you rely on the most. Hearing from you what you use each lens for gave me a few ideas for myself. I have the same Lowepro backpack and it has been a great workhorse for me. I can get so much gear in it. Looking forward to the next episode!
As a Sports photographer myself. Your videos help me to learn how to take photos of sports.. ❤ I am a regular viewer of your video love to watch and learn ❤
Take notes, Jean knows her craft and she’s on top of her game when it comes to sports photography! Looking forward to seeing more of her informative videos .
Thx for the video series…very informative! Surprised Jean doesn’t bring a 1.4tc as I would think the 300 2.8 a bit short for outfield shots even with A1 and especially with A93. TC can’t be a weight issue and I am sure the cost isn’t an issue so a bit puzzling to me.
So inspiring! So informative - I always learn something from Jean's videos, and showing up a day early at the same time I need to shoot is just great! It seems simple, but having a plan and doing the research really can make all the difference. Thank you!
so this two microphone system records in mono ??????? according to the lack of information about channel separation, this video indicates this system is mono.
Phil, thanks for some good tips - but why are you using such a heavy camera body with a poor AF? The same sensor you find in Sony A7RV and Sony a7CR and both cams have a modern AF with exzellent EyeAF and Real Time Tracking. I make "Street" in Asia and i am using mainly the A7CR. I am German and of course I am proud that Leica is a strong brand, but a lifestyle brand, not a daily working horse.
I love this series and very much want to photograph in Cuba. Do you hire an interpreter? Is it customary to offer money to the people you photograph? Thank you for doing these videos!
