I really have no idea why Ingrid is recruitable on Crimson Flower, almost every line of dialogue she has basically implies she doesn’t wanna be there at all. Same goes for Annette. They really could’ve just made it so that only characters with specific reasons to agree with Edelgard could be recruited.

I beated this level in maddening, kill Myson with Ashe and rescue him inmediately, gilbert and dimitri dodging the magic of Edel, and left room all the way, and skip de second left room with speed boost gambit for not turning on the interruptor of reinforcements, in the third room, another speed boost (and luck), To have dimitri, Bembeo (byleth) and felix, also yuri and sylvain helped to wreck edelgards fucking piece of traitor shit... at the end all of them died except yuri and byleth an finish her off with my last supreme sword landing crit and winning this fucking game in maddening oh god I can rest in peace
My thoughts on this theme is akin to naga being behind your back and her wings spread out to everyone of your fielded units giving you dovine protection. And everyones hearts are linked together.
Who would win? A pissed off, blood-thirsty literal dragon who is worshipped by all the realm and can fire a massive laser from its mouth or one small orange haired girl who found out steak and cake is for dinner and has a high magic stat and is about to hit a critical?

I was seriously considering sideing with Rhea but then I: 1. saw Edelgard's death (GD) 2. learned what Rhea have done 3. was digusted with how creppy and clingy she is towards Byleth.
It's really sad that Sothis was actually alive, and when you betrayed the church and killed Rhea, and your hair turns back to its normal color, I think Sothis died as well when you think about it.
This really hit me in blue lions.... After all that time it was time to fight edelgard for the last time. Then she got slaughtered cause she was weak as hell
Hans Gretl it’s the easiest settings with respawning characters. I’ve already attempted numerous times before, so I am just starting the battle yet again, meaning 6 divine pulses.
@@ariax1059 You do know that you could have upgraded the statues in the monastery to get more exp and more Divine Pulses, right? One thing that you can really always do to make Fire Emblem easy is to turtle, so make sure to take it very slow, take the enemies on one after another and keep your units together. You don't have to kill every enemy, so you should pick a path to the boss, whichever seems easiest. And if your getting overwhelmed, try to use gambits to stun a bunch of enemies for a turn so you can take them on in smaller chunks. Hope this helps 🙂
I don’t use the pulses that much, but thanks for the tip. as you may know I am stuck in the battle interface, so I can’t exit to the monastery. I have been trying to shoot straight through the center to hegemon edelgard, but unfortunately by the time I get to the throne room where she resides half my allies/characters are dead. I’m assuming I they have weak stats, especially considering I have 3 main fighters and the rest can’t sustain 2 hits.
@@ariax1059 if you loose several units in a single turn you might wanna use the pulses, they're like free save states. I haven't played on Normal, but it's pretty much unusual for any unit to survive more than two enemies at a time. You should put the people with high defense like Dimitri, Dedue and Gilbert on the front lines and try to keep your mages like Mercedes and Anette at the back. Those should only see combat on Player Phase if you can help it. But if you are facing magic enemies, that's when you should bait them with your mages, since your mages probably have good magic defense, called resistance. Do all of your units have battalions? Everyone besides Felix should have one, since Gambits are powerful attacks that can hit on several enemies and the battalions themselves give your units stat boosts in general.
This track made me cry when I first heard it in the game. I realized it really was the last time I was spending with my beloved students. Crimson Flower was my first Fire Emblem experience, and I really enjoyed it much more than I was expecting. Edelgard is such an interesting and complex character; I love her a lot. (Currently on my Blue Lions play through now!) "When humanity stands strong and people reach out for each other... there's no need for gods."
Hans Gretl I finished Azure Moon about a week ago! I love Dimitri, and he’s a really good and well written character, but I feel like Crimson Flower had a more satisfying ending (and final chapters). Currently replaying that along side my Golden Deer play through! (Also, while I do love Apex of the World, I feel like Azure Moon should have used something else for it’s final chapter.....it just didn’t seem like the right track to me.)
The reason is simple Sakurai likes Fire emblem and then they decided to comind this with the Fire emblem news. I dont understand why people are disappointed he pick so many favorites like King k rool banjo hero in Japan. I think its fair to ler him the Char from his favorite Franchise.
I myself am excited for Byleth, but I don’t think he/she’s the character people wanted for Fighter _#5_. He/she would have been a great Fighter #6, but I think people wanted some giant, mike drop of a character from a third party company. The radio silence dating all the way back to November in combination with the leaks didn’t help, and the stigma around any man/woman wielding a sword being bad makes the sting hit worse for some people. In conclusion, some people are happy (myself included), and those who aren’t should at least be civil about how they express themselves.
