I have the same rifle. Love it, but it’s as hell. Shot their new mountain rifle and the new Colts- much, much lighter and usable. Now need to figure out how to get the rifle to lose some weight. Any ideas?

Nice 1953 Chevy club coupe those are rare I had one Chevrolet only built 22,000 of those in 1953 the backside window was different than the 2 doors sedan back window slid back and forth 2 doors down went up and down . This style they had more space between the back side window and the rear window than the 2 doors sedan. This was a cool body style the club coupe came in the businessman coupe with no back seat, then the 150 and the 210 models. The 210 was the only one with the side trim all the moldings on the door and fenders.nice 53 I know it's been 9 years with this video I hope you still got it

Ordered mine September 9th. It came in today November 7. I bought the Left-T version though. Grateful for RRA making a true lefty shooter - right down to the left barrel twist.

get rid of your ego for the sake of other shooters and know your firearm before you go to range before you hurt yourself or others... you complain about a $400 bolt gun and only 2nd you owned... oh so your saying we should check out gun before the range???? no shit...go back to school you missed a few grades...

Bore sight means a laser out of the bore and then the reticle is adjusted to zero on that dot. That doesn't mean it'll translate into take it put of the box and be on target. It just means you have a good place to start.

A scoped rifle in a bolt allows for percise bullet placement, unlike a ar platform that look for hits anywhere on the body/target. Bolt action rifles by their design are accurate way beyond semiautomatics in the hands of a skilled shooter. A true marksman can work with anything so weather a rifle is 2 thousand or 500 bucks if you work with what you got you are still deadly no matter what.

The "accessories" on this rifle are a bad joke, but the rifle itself is a good solid unit.
@scottcrandall1236
@scottcrandall1236 7 лет назад
How so, "Fone Star"? It's a decent Barka scope, a $250 scope for a mere $100 price delta. Unless you are going to go for a 1.5 mile shot, you don't need to spend $2500 on an NX or $3200 for a Swarovski Z8.

Dont do straight lines. Your not mowing the lawn lol!!! Just do little uneven groupings and then connect them all together so it looks random. Random is the name of the game

The Velcro strap on the back near the padding is for attaching the bag to your belt so it doesn't slide around when it's over your shoulder.

If you don´t have decent trigger time on a gun you do not qualify to make a review. Why is this so hard to understand?
@scottcrandall1236
@scottcrandall1236 7 лет назад
So he "isn't qualified" to rate this based on his personal experience? You decided that there is some set amount of trigger time required to like or no like a rifle? OK, I've decided you don't have enough keyboard time to post comments.

This must be some economy version night train??? No flutted bolt...and it has old style silver color with knurling in wrong place (not where contact is made). You play with the bolt and mime loading rounds through open bolt, but say nothing (unless I missed) about box magazine? I looked at this gun but thank god for honest YT owners...plastic (CRAP) useless bipod...non zero holding, non adjustable Bar-suk-a scope with aluminum rings and mounts that strip after 2nd adjustment....so to add insult....when you cannot hit anything and it is empty it only weighs 2.75 pounds so isn't even a decent club.....keep selling yourself....the money is gone. I assure you...there are FAR better guns...even for less money than this...as my USMC buddy says...."ya gets what ya pays for....so spend a dollar where it counts".

+Jeff Swartout the video is from 2011. ;) it's been upgraded a few times.
@scottcrandall1236
@scottcrandall1236 7 лет назад
Wow, are you a putz. The only "plastic" is if you get the synthetic stock, the rings are fine unless you are a mountain gorilla and keep tightening them for no reason, the Barka scope is a good quality $250 scope, and the weapon empty weighs about 7.5 pounds, not less than 3. The reason you couldn't hit anything is because your eyesight is so bad you can't read, not the scope.

All atr rifles come with the lba trigger and I have a 30-06 and 308 in this rifle and they shoot just as well as my savage 111 270, great rifle for a great price, way better then shitty remington and better than savage axis rifle. My cousin bought a remington 700 7mm rem mag and after 6 shots the trigger spring broke in 2.

Simple upgrades, lock tight the screws on the rail, Harris bi-pod 6-9, Leupold Mark II Scope, Mark IV rings and have a gunsmith do your trigger. About $700.00 in upgrades but it will be a shooter and reliable.

I just got in a Remington 783 308 I put a Barska 4x12x50 on and sighted in for 100 yards with hornady 155 hp. I got good deal on it scope mounts and gun under $550.00. Since really no recoil on 308 I'm not to worried about losing my zero I got it just to play around with. I mount the scope as low as possible to the bore. Yours seems a bit high but good luck with it

A.R. 15 in bootcamp all Marines shoot em @ 200 yds.... 300 yds. and 500 yds... so when u say long range i am thinking anything beyond 500 yards... because just with iron sights we were hitting man sized targets on the rifle range with consistency. thats IRON SIGHTS if u didn't hear me, and yes any Marines here please feel free to confirm that we shoot iron sights out to 500 yards with our M-16's like it's second nature.. but a nice bolt action rifle like this one in the video can easily range out to 1,000 yds no problem.
@MrPlecemanvpd
@MrPlecemanvpd 10 лет назад
In the early 1990s we shot qualified at 500 yards with sights. We didn't have red dots or scopes. Just our M16. I was in class 2092 Paris Island BWT in LeJeune Not sure if they use optics these days. Before me the 500 Yard line was standard. Just iron sights and marksmanship. I also consider anything past 500 long range however with my aging eyes I use optics past 200 pending what gun I am shooting and rarely shoot or practice past that
@MrPlecemanvpd
@MrPlecemanvpd 10 лет назад
The M16 shooting and maintenance was all second nature I have a 20" HBAR same as what I had in Marines just not full auto or 3 round burst. Also have my M4. 500 yards with iron was not really considered long range If I was shooting a 1000 yards I would prefer a heavier and longer barrel with something more powerful. A 22lf will go a thousands but not good results pick your rifle and ammo for the right job, a 308 175 grain bthp match grade will get you there but better options. I consider 308 250-300 max for hunting w standard 22 inch barrel. Hunting animals different then ppl. Your shoot human at 1k it's a bit doesn't mean they go down. Animals are more robust then ppl. When I hunt I live in the north east heavily wooded shots are well under 200 yards. I don't think I would shoot animals past that even with a more powerful round and gun combo. Just too many variable w just wounding an animal and taking off. Animal moves, wind and so on. I mainly hunt with a 444 Marlin and 30-06 sorry for long winded. Just pick your weapon and ammo carefully for the right job and distance

I think that it's funny that ppl listen to RU-vid warriors instead of ppl who shoot their guns more than twice like you all in the military and call a good gun in-accurate.

Bought my Tac Op II a year ago. Love it. She's almost fully dressed. Awaiting my G33 to accompany my EO Tech EXPS2. Mine came with the Dominator II rail w/rear sight. That alone is 150.00 upgrade if you added. I took mine off because you can't cowitness with the quick detach mounts on the EO Tech optics. Put the Magpul MBUS on for my rear and have a good 1/3 cowitness through the glass now Love the RRA's!
