The colored mesh can exported to OBJ. Simply select the mesh, choose export, then OBJ. RealWorks will automatically export the OBJ file along with an material file and the required images. When you import the OBJ in the next software, ensure that the material file and images are in the same folder.
This video is a good starter but is missing how to account for pipe sag section, valve and flange fittings how to standardize the pipe sizes to ANSI / ASME when exporting these into Revit. Can we get an updated video how to address these and export management to Revit.

@5:43 you're flying around the model after adjusting the inspection and color bar. When I adjust my color bar and "Create", my newly created cloud doesn't show the new color bar made in the analyzer. How do I permanently adjust my inspection cloud's colorbar?
I just registered point cloud with an image. But I cannot find transformation parameters. Could you please let me know how to locate transformation parameters? such as the exterior orientation parameters( Camera position(X, Y, Z) and omega phi kappa angles(rotation angles) for transformation?
I'm using Trimble real works version 12. But I could not find the Image Matching Tool? there is just "Convert to ortho image" tool. Could you please let me know how to find it? Edited: I found it, I had missed to enable "Production" mode at the top right corner of the software.

I wish there was an option to export some sort of report for this kind of stuff. For example, exporting the inspection e57 cloud really does no good for any client as they likely wont have the tools or knowledge to view it or really know what's going on. Having to take many screenshots and create a report document from scratch seems annoying when this software is able to spit out reports for tank inspection. There should be basic automated reports for every type of inspection that we can customize further.

Its great to see Trimble putting more work into its manual modelling tools again, the "auto" tools within the previous few TRW updates weren't exactly useful in any way that streamlined processing. The pipe modelling tool in the video above is 90% complete but is missing functionality for when long pipe runs of non-rigid pipe runs where there are very subtle changes in direction between supports, i.e. services in a cable tray. When clicking along the pipe, the tool doesn't notice the subtle changes in direction and is constantly trying to create a one vector pipe with a best fit route, this is not correct. I still have to rely on the cloud based modeler tool to created individual cylinders between supports and then make each sequential cylinder secant to the previous one using constraints.
Hi I know it has been a long time since this video but I wonder if there are videos where things don't go to plan and you have a disaster which you have to sort out the many problems you find a long the way? Of course when you deal with programs as such things, for most of the time, only go smooth when you are a pro. In the case of Realworks I can't really find any information the sort out the most comun problems like tune all the scans not alined.
Looks like a good release. Well done! Although hoped for improvements on SketchUp support side. (e.g. openning SketchUp models in TRW for alignment/fit analysis, export to SU created geometry)

Hi , Im a new User for Trimble RealWorks , I use trimble X7 Scaner, is it Possible to Show/ Connect Stations with a Dotted line in Trimble RealWorks (Reference station with the moving stations) similar to FieldLink Software in the T10 Tablet ?
You can use the measurement tool in Trimble RealWorks to measure the slope. The floor flatness tool could be used to inspect the flatness but you would need to change the user coordinate system so that the slope is level.
