One people miss is that Salim’s model from ‘House of Ashes’ is in ‘Devil In Me’. The soldier ends up being a police officer that is shortly presented towards the end of the game if/when the lighthouse is turned on. It was very short but a great surprise imo
Reused character models feel like fun little treats like it feels like an actual anthology like American horror story when they have the same actors each season

When I saw that scene I was like:"Fuck it...I'm not leaving him behind!!I would rather die an heroic death fighting vampires with Jason helping him" rather than leaving him behind
For what it's worth, I think they do a good job at keeping the faces distinct enough to not ruin the immersion between games. Plus a part of me thinks this will eventually all have some massive tie-in with the repeat faces with the curator by the end of the series
Knowing from Nick that he says the same thing twice when he lies makes scenes like this even better It's amazing to see all those little details now, like him saying "reason" twice when saying the fake reason
