@@mxtty1963 Isaac is basically the 1692 (witch trial) version of the officer who diverted anthony to little hope. He is the one who does the Execution of Amy, Tabitha, Joseph and David. Although in most of the parts he is shown briefly, you can see him cutting the rope of David He has the character model of Eric from HOA

Yeah but it's a trope for some anthologies. Kind of similar to AHS and the repeating characters. How some people come back each season but play a different role. So it kind of honors the concept behind the anthology.. Plus I imagine it saves money on character modeling.

They will obviously be different characters but they're going to be re-using others whether people like it or not. And quite frankly I love them reusing faces because I like to spot them out.

ngl the only character i noticed was in a diff game was nick so i feel like they did a good job of making the actors/actresses look differet in each game imo

They most probably cant. The rights of Until Dawn is bought and owned by Sony, and that includes all assets in game. Thats why the creator made it clear that the Dark Pictures Anthology has no correlation with Until Dawn - not same universe, not same setting, totally unrelated in the franchise - due to legalities and because they no longer legally own that game despite the fact that its Supermassive who made the game, and therefore cant reuse any assets - character models specifically - from the game now that the Dark Pictures Anthology is published under Bandai Namco.

They reuse the Motion Capture Character Models but the main actors/voice actors are different. And they cannot reuse and havent reused anything from Until Dawn since its legally bought and owned by Sony. Thats why the Dark Pictures Anthology had to made it clear that Until Dawn isnt part of the Franchise published by Bandai Namco and therefore cant reuse any assets from Until Dawn in this franchise. Theyve also reused models in other games outside of the Dark Pictures Anthology, such as in the Hidden Agenda and the Inpatient. But they cannot and havent used anything from Until Dawn.
