2k and other indie companies should be able to compete for customers. I’m afraid they think if 2k is allowed to make one, 2k will do what they did to NBA LIVE. 😂 NBA LIVE is obsolete.
I hate to be a dickhead but people always complaining about madden but continue to buy it. Same thing with FIFA I have not bought fifa in years because I don’t support EA mess. Same thing with NCAA25 EA is the most scamming big video game company there is. I refunded NCAA25 and won’t buy madden hit em where it hurts which is sales
Even 2k now is not 2k from then. Even the basketball games had more features in the early nba2k games compared to now. People want 2k to make a football game but they are just as money hungry and do not give af about their customers or player base either. Madden at least rewards players when they mess up. 2k doesn’t. NBA2k is also a shit show rn. Corporate greed pushing in game micro transactions w their myplayer and myteam modes and constant pop ups (just like madden and mut). Yeah competition is good though because it forces these companies to change. But rn both have monopolies on each of their respective industries. But I wouldn’t have high hopes of a 2k football game either.
In general, the game is good, but it feels like they didn't go a little further with their investment in the game modes & gameplay to make the game great
As long people continue to buy it why change it that’s their mentality the way for them (EA) put out a better product is simple hit them where it hurts $$$
This is probably the closest thing to Madden on the Switch. (The last time EA released a sports game on a Nintendo console that wasn't a soccer game was in November 2012, when the Wii U came out with Madden 13.)
The franchise features were nice on paper, but they added nothing to the acrual gameplay. and I personally found the crib worfhless. This is coming from a huge fan of the series.
I think this was a more than fair review and I pretty much agree. Still, I love the game overall. I think what's great about it (the gameplay) more than makes up for what's bad about it. At least for me. It is without a doubt one of my favorite games. It certainly beats Hardball 6 that I played many years ago and loved that game.
Everyone complains about the same stuff every year: gameplay, presentation, commentary, etc. we get it the games suck. What about how the reporters in cfm saying things that aren’t true and it affects my players? Like my QB will start the szn with no turnovers and the reporter asks me what I think my QB done well, I’ll reply not turning the ball over. She says idk what I’m talking about and the story on IG is that idk my players well. Wtf is that? He has 0 fumbles, 0 INTs what are we talking about?
Bro, I understand the hate but a lot of the stuff you explained were better in 2k ARE in madden but it’s not in menus it’s in stupid cut scene and text message.
I remember praying this game for hours... one of the hardest football games ive ever played passing was challenging and running the ball was challenging... i loved the 1st person view but man was it hard playing in that view
Not to mention. When nfl and nba 2k5 dropped. It was at a price of $19.99. As a way to get loyal EA fans to try their game. I myself was a 2k from day one. My cousin had a dream cast when the 1st dropped like in 1999. He had the all of the 1st couple of 2k's with Iverson on the cover, and he had tht nfl 2k. I tried to convince all my buddies tht 2k was a faaar superior game. Then its EA counterparts. I think I was right
