This game missed its window to come out last year once college football 25 comes out. Nobody’s going to care about this game at all. They missed the opportunity by not having it ready last year.
Wow...this is a sad take after growing up and having options to play multiple sports games throughout each year. I welcome it, plus the game is free to play, so they are not charging up front like EA, which should really be free to play as well with all of their micro transactions
No they will be fine. It's OK to have multiple football games. Different companies, different gameplay and feel, different physics and game engine.. thinking a free to play football sim with deep customization and franchise/dynasty is ignorant af
It not coming to console until 2026 at the earliest. The game is going to be in Early Access between 1 and 2 years. I'm glad I have a PC, I'm looking forward to this game, I think it can be something special.
yeah I agree. granted, if the game isn't ready then it isn't ready. but it just feels as if the window of opportunity is closing and the hype will be overshadowed my EAs college football.
most likely yes. I'm reserving any real remarks until I get my hands on it because looks can often be deceiving. it might play very well. Madden looks good aesthetically, but the gameplay is awful.
it never has been though. even when Madden was good, ncaa was always been the better playing game so we dont have a reason to believe otherwise for now.
Doesnt this game have college and pro? Would we be able to draft college to the pro league? Why are a number of gamers complaining about if this game is released after unreliable ea football releases?
it will. I'm extremely excited about everything Maximum Football is offering off the field. Having both college and pro style leagues and being able to draft college players from that same universe is sick. The release date stuff is annoying, but it will be done when it's done. I'm worried about gameplay. nothing they've shown looks great. balls warping to the WR on a corner route. defenders and ball carriers snapping to each other like magnets.
The reason we’re complaining is because we were told a year ago that it was supposed to come out on early access and all they ever do is delay, delay, delay, and delay some more. If you need time to make the game fine just tell us that from the beginning.
@michaelcalabrese1730 I'll give ANYONE a chance over ea! They have exclusive rights and release 🐂💩 annually for desperate sports gamers. I've purchased Madden twice since they acquired the exclusive rights. The first one was for XBOX 360 and the one that had OBJ on the cover. Football is my first love and I refuse to give ea my money annually. I'm not a fool.
Consoles don't get official early access games, as you mentioned. Consoles get unfinished games. I seriously hope it runs well on Steam deck. Also, those of us with high integrity, have a firm stance on boycotting EA
oh big time. the game needed to be in its current state and released last fall. the problem is if even if they release a solid indie football title, no one is going to care because of CFB 25. unless CFB absolutely flops
They could take 10 years to make this game and it still will be a disappointment. Trust me in the developers just don’t have the resources to make a decent football game.
very true. it's easy for me to hop on here and ask the question, 'have they missed their window' and state the window might be closing. but if they release a completely unfinished game a year ago then they'll never be able to recover. the game is going to be heavily scrutinized no matter what, this is by far the most hyped up indie football title coming out in a long time.
when the game finally comes out on consoles they might as well sell it for half the price because it took so long to get the game right I'm just saying and nobody is going to care at that point.
Who the hell even cares at this point? I’ve never in my life seen a game take longer to come out. They were talking about this game like four years ago just release the damn thing already.
If you've done enough Research on this game ypu would know it's a College and Pro Game All in One Game. I wish mfs would stop saying EA EA EA like Brooooooo !!!! It's not just a Damn College Game !
