Nice one dear, you have gained a subscriber, my question is I have bad experience with liquid dish washing soap after production is perfectly good but come the next few days the color starts changing from green to brown or red sometimes
@@Janegist If your recipe and method of production are accurate, that means the color is the issue here. Cos it once happened where I use purple color for hand wash production, only for me to wake up the next day to see color blue. So do not buy a micca type of color for any liquid group of soap. I think the transparent one is more concentrated. For the multi-purpose solution, you should increase the caustic soda to 41 grams and decrease the soda ash, as it will precipitate over time (forming calcium and magnesium carbonates), especially if you're not using any chelating agent like EDTA. STPP can help, but it’s not as stable since it functions primarily as a sequestrant and only assists with stain removal. The solution becomes translucent because you're using Natrosol as a thickener in the presence of soda ash. You can still make it transparent by switching to CMC as the thickener and adjusting the viscosity with soda ash. A multi-purpose liquid soap can be used for various applications depending on its pH level and formulation, but it should not be assumed to be safe for all uses.
Dishwashing liquid soap is meant to be transparent. While multipurpose liquid soap is meant to be a little a bit translucent. I want to believe your comment here is based on your personal experience and your method of formulation. Firstly, for the transparent liquid soap, the chemical quantities are just accurate and not to make it concentrated. Secondly, for the multi-purpose liquid soap, any slightest increase in caustic soda for this 10litres of soap will cause skin irritation and peeling. Again, talking about the solution becoming translucent "multi-purpose liquid soap is a bit translucent in nature" maybe U meant to say " cloudy" I have been using this recipe since 2015 and I have never experienced any abnormal translucency or cloudiness and of course, the fact that it's a multi-purpose liquid soap doesn't mean one should use it for bathing. This reminds me of when my supplier apprentice mistakenly sold a chemical she named Drawer as Industrial camphor in my Germicide. It spoilt 50litres for me.
It's mostly for beginners that do not master the act of soap making. Also using soda ash in your soap recipe with chemically bleached palm oil, the hydrogen peroxide in the bleached palm oil is not a good combo, sometimes it reacts with soda ash and cause the soap to be so dusty especially for colored soap. So use the required amount of hydrogen peroxide.

Hi Mr Augustine! In my paid class I don't only teach how to make soap, I teach how to create recipe" using saponification value at times and soap calc. So from your comment above; If you're using the saponification value of oils, you'll find out that the total amount of Lye used in soap Production x 2 will give you the quantity of solvent to use, which is 200ml in my own case, but I added extra 50ml.
