What size should I choose for a jacket to wear over the AI-1 airbag Vest? For example, if I wear an M size AI-1 airbag vest, should I choose an M size Marrakesh jacket or an L size?
Four years later, can't help but wonder why they haven't included waist adjustment in their garments. As a slimmer rider, having that feature would've been a game-changer, allowing me to tailor the jacket for a more snug fit without all the unnecessary fabric bunching up around the waist. I'm a proud owner of the Kodiak, and let me tell you, the cut on that thing is impeccable. But here's the kicker - I recently switched from a road bike to an ADV, and I was itching to go back to Klim. However, after trying out their entire lineup, it felt like mission impossible. None of them fit me right; they were all too baggy. And I can't shake off the feeling that I'm not alone in facing this dilemma. Other brands offer waist adjustment as a standard feature, so why not Klim? It's a question that's been nagging at me for a while now. Klim, if you're listening, consider this a plea from a loyal customer. Adding waist adjustment could make all the difference for riders like me who crave that perfect fit.
No mention of the internal chest pocket? Very important these days as a safe place for phone, ie phone camera easy access.

Peak broken from collision with windshield. I'd say, pretty fragile. Without peak the visor is not fully closing though it was closed when fixed with locks.
This is a $800 helmet after taxes. You would expect perfection in all aspects and it's almost there BUT the visor will NOT stay where you place it. Open it up a few notches for extra air, first little dip or bump in the road and SLAM down it comes! I love everything about this helmet except the hinge plates. They are very cheaply made. It makes me wonder if anyone that actually rides tests them?? It is a $800 helmet WT Actual F?!
Hey Dan awesome video, and the little guy in the Black and Green FXR gear and Pit Vipers is my son JD Ebertowski. Thanks for taking the time to meet him and pics! Thank you again.
The site says it has removable shoulder pads. Are they D3O/D3O compatible? Kind of like the idea of getting this for snowboarding and throwing some level 1 ghost armor in the shoulders.
Hey I’m getting ready to order Carlsbad but I’ve heard from a few reviewers that the knee armor on the pants does line-up with the riders knee’s and may require the inner liner to be removed and repositioned, can you comment on this issue?
