Hey, you can call me Mustache! I’ve been tying for 15+ years so I have a lot of experience to share! My goal is to teach you all the techniques you’ll need to know in order to tie incredible patterns that will catch you tons of fish! For business inquiries: Mustachejigs@gmail.com
If you cut the foam at a diagonal toward the head it’ll taper as you synch it down. I’ve tied a number of dragon flies this way but I’ll definitely be trying this out. Thank you!
HI from Rolla MO 🎣🤠 Dave Hughes. I enjoyed your minnow jig. I'm trying to make a soft minnow with dubbing and soft braided tubing . Working rather well. Thanks for your time and knowledge. Good health for you and your's Dave Hughes 🎣 🤠
Hey! What did you catch that white bass, wiper, largemouth and pike on at dmad resivor a little while ago? Im going tomorrow and would love some pointers!
Your diff the best jig tying channel I tied my first jig the other day it took about 10 before I got some tight enough with out breaking thread they ain’t pretty but hopefully I’ll get good,
The tool that holds the thread is called a bobbin and the tool that holds the hook is called a vice. Check out my jig tying for beginners series to find out more!
I really enjoyed the video. Great content presented awesomely, as usual. Fixing to have knee surgery in about a month, and though I don't necessarily need the class part, I'm going to do the MudHole on line class. I'll get everything I need for the class, as well as something to keep me occupied during the latter part of recovery... Looking at the Phenix Elixir blanks in 5'6" to the 7'. that's 4 rod builds. Should keep me busy through the winter, and have some new rods for next year. Like I said, really enjoyed the content, Hope the rod lived up to all your expectations.
I just want you to know that I wish I never found your channel it cost me money. I just went out and bought a peak rotary and the recommended starting tools lol. I love watching your jig tying videos and I appreciate the time you take to do them. I hope you continue to make more in the future. Tight lines!
Am I crazy or does this look like a Wooly Bugger on a jig? I am definitely going to tie some of these. I just got some 1/124oz #10 jig hooks, I'm going to try down sizing this to them as well.
