This jig is awesome! It's durable and irresistible. Make sure to tie some up and add them to your box!
Head: 1/16 oz pill head
Paint: White ProTec powder paint
Hook: Size #2
Eyes: Silver 4mm 3D eyes
Thread: White uni thread 6/0
Body: Minnow blue cactus chenille, UV white badger squishenille
Tail: Blue/white two-toned rabbit strip (zonker)

Mustache...I have used this chenile and have fished it. Keep in mind this chenile is much more buoyant then regular chenile and it also slows the jig down in the water column. It does add weight to the overall jig which allows for just a little more distance during a cast.

I was at my local fly shop and I seen the squish chenille for about $6. 1st thing I thought of was a jig body. If you tell our local shop you're tying patterns that doesn't involve a fly rod to catch fish, you get kindly removed from his store.

I told the guy at my fly shop I only use a fly rod for panfish and catfish. Trout are not native to my state so I refer to them as invasive species. They love me.
