Hi Ben, I just had newest TDMX receiver but noticed it doesn't have inverted Sport anymore . This is big problem for user which using F4 flight controller which requires inverted sport signal pin. Any clue to resolve this matter? Thx
@goesnickfvp7529 I'm very sorry but for some reason they removed it. I've been complaining to HQ about this for a long time. It really frustrates me too. I have to use an S.Port inverter circuit and it's very annoying :(
@@frskyrc-ben yes that is so true, frsky has alot of capable receiver type to serve any purposes however with missing of inverted sport pin I need to consider to install elrs module on the back of the tx which actuality I really avoided to not complicating my setup.
Are there any videos on installing the temporary lua 1:41 script on the X 20 Pro? I installed it on the flash drive the radio and put a SD card and installed it there not able to flash the internal module the way I see in the video of the X 20 S. Getting ready to buy a spectrum radio just so I can have stabilization.
@aegidiomoresco5982 I have a video which shows the temporary Lua script install for x20s it is the same process for the x20 pro. You need to have the files placed in the correct location for it to work. It should not be put on the flash drive but the radio drive instead
I went in the boot loader mode and removed all the files that said LUA or had anything to do with it and reinstalled them from the folder I had on my desktop that fixed it I like this radio and all the options.
My ex 20 Pro won’t put the SRX calibrate and stable next to the information icon in settings on my Transmitter so I cannot enable the stabilization. I have the 2.06 Scripps in my file manager Radio receiver still on I’m running boot loader 1.4.15 RF module is V one.1.13. Radio is up-to-date with 1.5.9 any suggestions
@aegidiomoresco5982 yes if you don't have a script folder you need to create it. Tbh I'm not sure what all the factory reset will affect I think it just resets the radio customized settings but doesn't touch model files or scripts
Nice I have an even better setup use the Nano 33 BLE V2 with proximity sensor and a short right angle USB C cable and there is no need for the wonky barrel jack setup. All I had to do was make a new 3D printed housing for the board minus the barrel jack stuff. Works perfect with my DJI O3.
I have always wondered what the ideal settings are for autolevel in your RXs... I think most default to 50? I'd love to learn a bit more about best practices on how to set those values. Also, does the gain knob affect the auto-level mode or just the stabilized mode? Thanks for making these resources, the new Stab rx's are awesome.
hi frsky x8r updated to the latest version accst v2 is it good in your opinion to be mounted on a helicopter sab goblin raw 580 for a flight soft 3d? PCB antennas they don't have that carcass that I see in your video my x8r they have the pcb at sight. I mount the antennas in sight but I don't want it to go into bind because if they go into bind I have to turn the power off and on. If the helicopter flies and it goes into failsafe It is crash Surely. At most 100/130 meters I will arrive and I'm scared which goes into failsafe. There is a way to delay the failsafe or add a delay like if you lose signal for more than 3 seconds then failsafe is activated ??
Can you tell us what the unused solder tabs are for? Just to the right of the ribbon cable, under the battery. Includes R4, T4, Gnd. I want to wire in a 3rd axis rudder knob but can't find a spot. Thanks
Only the R8 PRO is discontinued and replaced by similar ARCHER Plus R8 now, however the GPS ADV can work with any receiver either with SmartPort or new FBUS protocols. The setup with other receivers will be a little bit different as you may need to program a pin to SmartPort or FBUS mode.

I used to be able to bind channels 9-16 on my RX6R. This meant I had SBUS to my flight controller and six PWM pins for direct servo control (landing gear, gear doors and flaps). Now I moved to Ethos, updated the RX6R with the latest ACCESS FW today and I cannot get the same setup (channels 1-8 SBUS, channels 9-16 SBUS). What should I do?
Hi. I’m trying to calibrate my TD SR 12 stabilised receiver. However, I cannot seem to get the stabiliser icons onto my transmitter (X20S). I would be grateful if you could please help me. Thank you. Stephen
After learning this it was a help on my Freewing F-14. It uses 15 channels for various things. . Then I changed some things and both ailerons started going the same direction. Both up and both down as aileron stick position changed. Re-running the self check fixed it. If something is changed and there is incorrect control movement re-run the self check. Odds are better than good it will fix the control issue. Also keep in mind there are only 5 gyro affected channels on page one. Throttle is apparently not a gyroed control. This can mean something if you are running multiple channels on similar control surfaces, ie. 2 aileron, 2 elevator, 3 rudder (two vertical stabilizers and steering on separate channels), thrust reverse, etc. Haven't used page 2 yet but it is probably an option.
This is good to know. Will this receiver, and gyro (the video is for a basic 5 channel airplane), work in a Freewing F-14 where 3 aileron channels, one elevator channel, 2 rudder channels, throttle channel, thrust reverse channel, center burner channel, flaps channel, retract gear channel and swing wing channel would be required? Or would a different receiver be better for this complex a model?
Hello Sir! Hope you're doing well. Question in Ethos Suite they have Pre-Release 1.5.0 RCO. I've always been told don't down load any pre-release firmware, Because not safe and is this true.
@@frskyrc-ben I know that. But for me it's huge reason love being updated. It's like being updated to only window xp while you can upgrade to linux or Window 11 and revive the antique to actually perform better then ethos. I'm just wondering. Edgetx fixed lot of issue and fast development compare to edgetx since edgetx is over tousand of development instead dozen of ethos. Hope Ethos can be open source. :)
@@rcrotorfreak yes but I read some comments that there are lots of fixes with EdgeTX but also some bugs which are patched in OpenTX , but because EdgeTX is forked from before these patches, those bugs exist in EdgeTX still even though have been patched in OpenTX. Sorry but ETHOS will be not be open source. There is some proof of concept work for ersky9x on x20 but it is not open sourced either
@@frskyrc-ben Doesn't work like that. Opensource mean that source code is expose. So Edgetx started where it left off from last version with last patches and start foundation from there. Not missing no preivous patches in fact improve it. But then again. Edgetx probably wont even use those patches. Edgetx is continue of the road of Opentx in another name. Opentx doesn't support touch screen back then and neither many radio. Now Edgetx became like a virus that now it support dozen of radio. Edgetx became a better engineer in firmware then opentx. Now Ethos is alright I hope Ethos can be compatible with Edgetx luascrip.
Yes it should work just as long as you have the MIXER channel orders on the student radio set correctly to match the Teacher radio's model expected channel order.

Hi this was a user request they use this Nitro Glow switch programming , I'm not sure the exact application here how it is used, but I don't think you will need to use this exact programming for any RC Ships or RC Trucks unless they are Nitro fueled.
Is there a Sound Pack just for ETHOS program? Can you tell me if the Sound pack can change the Sound for Thermal Pilots that learning in catching Thermals. I looking to buy the GR8 with Vari. For my F5J Sailplane. But they told me all I get are beeps in different sounds. Please can you help ?
Not yet but soon! Yes with the third-party soundpacks you can set up the call outs for different flight modes like Thermal, Cruise, Landing, etc. The default vari sounds are limited to beeps but you can program logic switches and special functions to do just about anything
