Just bought this exact system along with the caragraphic valve controller for my soon to arrive BGTS 4.0, I am so excited, thank you for the great video, this really sold it for me.
Thanks for video. I was not happy with standard guard due to flaring and reflections. I was wondering if premium was better. I guess not. No lens guards for best quality....
Come on people let’s blow this up rear vents for sedans/suv/hatchbacks should be on by default no matter the car “If you don’t want rear vents just get a coupe…. simple as that”🤷🤷
I just figured this out 😂😂 the iconic sound button really opens and closes valve. Which I don’t like cause if im in sport mode I want the valve open even if I have iconic sound off.
We loved our Air Touring test drive last Sunday. We'll be giving my current 2023 330e xDrive to our daughter next year so we'll likely get the Air Touring, fully loaded. I just wish I could lease but I can't because I drive well over the 15k/yr limit.
If this isnt the best handling car you've had, then im assuming youve had some 911s or somethings super nice because the handling of this car is definitely S tier. Even being "wrong wheel drive"
It handles really good but I swear the FK8 felt more analog. The FL5 steering is kinda numb. Not that much feedback from the steering wheel. My Shelby GT350 has better steering feel and transmission than my FL5.
Spot on man! I used to tell everyone my Shelby GT-350 was like my 06 Civic Si with more power that was unusable on the street. Both were slow down low, both screamed to 8,000rpms or more, both had amazing gearboxes. But around town I could row all the gears int the Si as oppsed to 2-3 in the Shelby!
Love you video. I also have a 2023 M340i so very helpful. Have you considered getting MPE exhaust? I am thinking about getting but need to hear it in person to be sure.
I have the 2024 LCI with MPE. Much nicer sound BUT with iconic sounds off the passenger side valve remains closed. And the speakers overpower the exhaust sound so it has to be the most annoying feature ever.
Model S looks much sleeker and more aggresive. The Lucid really reminds me of a Lincoln. Lucid is doing terribly financially, the only thing keeping it afloat is the Saudi Crown Prince MBS investments. The charging network is also a mess with any EV other than Tesla sadly.
Had a Taycan Cross Turismo 4S loaner when I took my GT4 in for service recently and was really impressed! Still retained that Porsche handling and feel for such a heavy car...and yeah, there's a lot of power there too lol They still depreciate like a brick so might be something I'd consider in future hehe.
Omg, please stop doing these monkey see monkey do videos. I can’t stand seeing someone running up to the services center recording cars they don’t own. Buy one and then review it, oh wait, that’s been done too. You guys are so lame and need attention
Thanks for the review,I thought i was going crazy because with the iconic on the valves open in sport and with iconic off the valves remain closed on my 2023 330i.so i thought something was wrong with my car
1) How does the suspension in standard mode compare with that of the standard Model 3? 2) How does it compare in terms of driving experience and general feel to the M340i?
It does not have a suspension lifter. It's only about 10 mm lower than the standard car, maybe half a finger worth - I could fit 3 squished fingers into the wheel gap in the Performance and about 4 squished fingers in the regular Model 3.
@@KitsCars yeah, but my point is that 50hp es marginal, the difference is very low and the 3kwh reduction brings better range than the US version since you have 9% less power and 3.5% less battery
Can you elaborate a bit more about the headrest issue? Can you get into a comfortable position without the head protruding forward uncomfortably? Moreover, is there anyway to detach those protruding headrests?
I'd say it is maybe 10-15% worse than the current car - I had to recline the seat more than I wanted. It's not easily removable, my friend was pulling and prodding and didn't find an easy way to remove it :(
I agree! It looked like it was moveable and I was kind of excited to see it only to find out it was fixed and ugh... I have a long torso and like to sit upright though, so sit in one before you make any judgements. I have a problem with headrests in cars that other people don't.
If the material isn’t connecting the headrest to the seat. It’s probably removable. In the normal 3, there’s a coin slot like thing you have to push in to allow the headrest rails to slide out of the seat. The trick has been to bend the rods slightly to angle headrest back until comfortable.
