We all had the experience in our youth, that actually the best friend of our girlfriend might have been the better match. Well, except the model railroad guys, they later physics teachers alike. They didn't have girlfriends.
A very pedantic review in my opinion. A lot of your "issues" are common across all rifles of that price point. Thats why they fit in that price bracket. If you want all the bells and whistles get a CTR or a tac.
The great thing about 6.5 creedmor is that practice doesn't hurt. For a hunt recoil isn't as important to me. Im only going to take 1 or 2 shots. But getting good with a big recoil hurts. Keep in mind im a relative beginner. Maybe some folks can take 30-06 100 shots a day.

For my 6.5 i have a raised scope mount with a peep hole down the middle for iron sights and with the scope i want i can set the scope for a 300 yard zero and have markings on the reticle for up to 625 yards and the iron sights will be zeroed at 100 yards. That gun is for open fields. Another gun is for small game and i have another as a brush gun for up to 300 yards. Multiple cartridges for different things. As for availability lead casting is a thing and is cheaper with even moderate shooting since per bullet if you can source free lead would cost a fraction of a cent before equipment costs which is still cheaper than buying bullets. Before you say lead casting is dangerous just remember most bullets are lead and shooting and handling ammunition also exposes you to lead and shooting at indoor ranges increases your risk of lead poisoning. Just wash your hands, dont burn yourself, dont breath the smoke, have good ventilation, and keep water, kids, pets, etc away
Here's your drawback, pretty weak, and outdated selection of cartridge chamberings. It's a cool rifle, but I'm not buying any rifle in the cartridges that they offer it in.
Hornady is not going to make any components for 6.8 Western because they don’t want anyone to realize it performs extremely similar but is a short action and has less recoil so it would outsell their 7mm PRC in almost all hunting situations
Sorry Backfire - You are NOT going to trick us with those 3-Shot groups, claiming sub-MOA. Shoot a nice, clean sub-MOA 10-shot group and then we can start talking about sub-MOA :)>. Seriously though, we need a 10-shot group or you are trivializing your previous work on "my gun shoots sub-moa all the time" claims.
The reason why you should own a 3006, is every store that sales ammo has 3006 on the shelf! You have a huge variety of bullets for the 3006... Everything from 40gr to 220gr bullets for reloading, with that said you can make a 3006 do anything you want with reloading. You don't have these options with the 7mm and 300mgs ect... Especially if the bottom falls out of it in this country and you cant get ammo.... Everyone has 3006 laying around!
bruh im just lookin for a can plinker that can cover about 100 yards or so and still hit a can. i had one when i was a kid a daisy cobra or something and it wasnt quite that accurate but at 100 yards i could bounce a can off a fence post maybe .... 1 in 3 shots. it was accurate. everytime i seen bbgun for is taken super serious and they got pre charged stuff... its a bb gun bro sometimes just a little poofy noise and can plinking but a good one ya know. i assume a 'good and accurate' bb / pellet gun is probably a break or pneumatic pump and it costs well under 100.. if i want something more than that i got 22
