Thanks for watching! My videos cover a wide range of subjects, from fishing, and blasting over shoals in a jetboat, to blasting targets, and even showing Larry The Cable Guy how we harvest oysters on the SC coast.

I'm an AWS-certified welder with nearly 2 decades of experience in the fields of fabrication, welding, machining, and construction. My 'other' job title is being a commercial fisherman, managing about 100 acres of shellfish leases, as well as working with legislators and DNR to enhance fisheries, through legislative changes to fishery regulations, and enforcement of laws.

In addition, I hold several other certifications, including NRA-certified firearms instructor, SC Notary Public, PADI-certified Rescue Diver and Medic First Aid.

Dude here we are in 2024 I’m having this sort of problem. Can you just clean out the ports?
@HKPSG1Shooter
@HKPSG1Shooter 14 дней назад
The issue was corrosion holes through the inner wall of the exhaust manifold. Very difficult to try to weld that, or even get it clean enough to attempt to weld it. I’m not really sure why there was corrosion, as I flush my engine after every use. But, it has been in a lot of salt water over the years, and sometimes even your best efforts won’t defeat salt water electrolysis

@jebmcdonald5709 I usually take the southern route . There is another creek farther north, across from pumpkinseed island, that one is also navigable, although, I would recommend a higher tide, as you have to cross muddy bay to get to it, and that area get real shallow. There is a creek off Jones Creek that will take you right to the back side of north island. Check google maps to see it

@Stoned_ape117 HK91 or PTR91 PSG1 stock PSG1 forearm PSG1 grip PSG1 trigger pack, or a better and less expensive option is a Williams set trigger modification to your existing Hk 91 trigger pack at about 1/4 the price. PSG1 reinforcing rails (TIG weld into receiver grooves to stiffen the receiver) PSG1 trunnion extension (for heavier barrel as well as PSG1 forearm) PSG1 charging tube adapter (this attaches the PSG forearm) HK21 charging handle (oversized versus the standard 91 handle for better leverage) PSG1 barrel (make sure the barrel has a fluted chamber for proper function) M1913 Picatinny scope rail contoured for receiver, and TIG welded in place. Additionally, you can opt for the silent bolt closure device/forward assist plunger mechanism, it’s similar to the AR15 forward assist) I don’t have that on my rifle as I find it unnecessary and I really don’t care for the whole concept of a forward assist. If a round doesn’t chamber correctly, I think it’s a bad idea to hammer it in there instead of cycling the action and trying another round. For a good gunsmith to put it all together (especially the barrel work) I would recommend Murray Urbach at UPF in Garland TX….or Jayson Cotter at Investment Grade Firearms. I did mine about 25 years ago and it was 5k then. Prices have most likely increased since then. Hope this helps

That really depends on the type of boat and engine. And the river level. With my boat, and the water at 7 ft on the Cheraw gage, I only made it to stag rock at the state line. Above there is Buchanan shoals and also Jones creek shoal, very shallow and difficult to run. In theory, if you had the right water level, the right kind of boat (jet outboard) and someone with local knowledge of the river, you could go all the way up to Blewett falls dam.

I have a genetic heital hernia and I was constantly throwing up when I did eat which led me to not eating at the age of 15. The only thing that would reduce the acid and increase my appetite in one would be consuming cannabis. The doctors told me that the cannabis consumption was the root cause of the hernia and that I would have to go into surgery if I continued consuming cannabis. As horrible as it sounds, I haven't been to a doctor sense and I am now 20 and still regularly consume cannabis for my heital hernia symptoms. Used to throw up everyday, every morning at least, and now it's nearly never.

Wow, I'm not sure why your video came up in my feed but I'm glad it did. I haven't done any searches for Epstein Barr in a few years. I was diagnosed with it in February 2019 & some of your symptoms for that sound like mine. I've heard the same things as you .90% have it but for most it's inactive. My Doc said I could have got it 30 years ago for all we know. I'm taking Acyclovir too & it's dropped my numbers about 10 points, but my Doc says after trying for a couple years we're just managing it now & it probably won't go back to inactive levels. I also have 2 kinds of walking pneumonia & my gut can't tolerate antibiotics to get rid of them & it's been said if Barr doesn't go away it's because there's something else going on so I'm kind of stuck but hopefully something in the future will change. I'm still hopeful. Oh yeah coincidentally since 2014 I've had most of my teeth pulled. Looking back, I think I had mild Barr symptoms (occasional light headedness or something like that) leading up to 2019 when I knew something was wrong but maybe it was that or maybe something else. Thanks for posting.

Sorry to hear you’re dealing with all that. As for the respiratory issues, I would recommend taking Usnea lichen extract, and pine needle tea. These 2 herbal remedies are very effective for respiratory problems, one of my friends has COPD, the pine needle tea has at least made his condition more tolerable. The usnea is like natural doxycycline, without messing up your immune system or your gastrointestinal system. When you say your numbers dropped 10 points, what specific parameters are they testing? I wasn’t aware of any such test, but I’d be interested to have my own levels tested to see where I am.

So basically you're saying outside 15' it's about as accurate as BB gun with regular .22lr 😂. Nice pattern on the shotshell for the distance, #11 shot did nice job on the can. Now I know why my rifled barrel slings it out like it was fired from a slingshot😅.
@HKPSG1Shooter
@HKPSG1Shooter 5 месяцев назад
Yeah, with no rifling to stabilize the bullet, the accuracy isn’t consistent beyond a few feet. I’ve fired plenty of shot shells out of regular 22s without realizing the rifling cuts the effective range by 2/3. I have several hundred rounds of 45 colt, 44 mag, and 38 special I have reloaded with cci shot capsules, but in those I used number 8 shot. Out of my colt 45 revolver, I have hit hand thrown clay pigeons. As a side note, I was reading about number 12 shot, what they use in shot cartridge rounds. Says it’s against the rules to use that size in competitive skeet/clays because due to the massive dispersal of shot, it takes the “game” out of it with a very high hit ratio. Hmmm. Think I’m gonna look for some number 12 to load me up some skeet rounds and bust ass on the sporting clay course 😂

Hello. I need some advice. My brother was diagnosed with HSV 1 Encephalitis on January 12. And on January 9 he had an epi attack. He was in the hospital for a month, he was treated with acyclovir. The last lumbar puncture was negative for the virus. He has been receiving home treatment since February 9, but he is still disoriented, confused and has hallucinations, as well as memory loss. Is this a normal course of the disease, will it get better after a certain time? Or are these all permanent consequences for a lifetime?
@HKPSG1Shooter
@HKPSG1Shooter 6 месяцев назад
It’s interesting that you ask me about this. Not sure how you knew I was an encephalitis survivor, as I didn’t mention it in this video. It’s also interesting as this past weekend makes exactly 10 years since I left the hospital after 19 days with viral encephalopathy. I’ve actually been thinking of doing a video about it. Very sorry to hear that your brother is going through the same thing I did. I also had seizures, but only the first day or so in ICU. They had me on Depakote for about 2 years afterwards, and I remain seizure free. As for the disorientation, confusion, etc, this is a common occurrence with viral encephalitis. It WILL get better, but it will take time. He needs to be on acyclovir for the rest of his life, same with me. Also, high doses of vitamin b1 thiamine will help with brain function and repair. Another thing that helped me, and will probably help him with the reorientation process, go to familiar places, somehow it seems to help re wire the synapses that encephalitis tends to destroy. Do tasks or activities that are familiar, as well. Start small and then work back up. It took me a few months to get back to normal, and then another couple of years before I felt like I was back at 100 percent and then some. Also, consult with a neuropsychologist, they specialize in this field. Normal doctors or other specialists don’t. There was a lot of confusion in the hospital with my case, I presented to the ER with seizures and extreme psychotic and aggressive behavior. I spent 5 days in icu on a ventilator and another 2 weeks in critical care. They had to call for code white several times, and I spent several days in 4 point restraints due to aggressive/destructive behavior. The doctors were wrongly treating me as a psych patient. The neuropsychologist immediately recognized what it was, and discharged me. If not for him, I might have gone to a psychiatric ward.
